Industrial Inspired Vegas Wedding with Alpacas & Baby Goats!

Stephen and Perla met through work, hitting it off during a company merger. It’s just as well they worked well together as they now own a photo booth business together! You are going to absolutely LOVE this wedding for so many reasons… But the big one has got to be those adorable BABY GOATS!!

Unlike many couples who head to Vegas to elope, Stephen and Perla live and work in the city so they had the capital of unique weddings right on their doorstep. The couple chose The Doyle to host their day – a laidback, downtown venue complete with a cool, industrial space that they could put their own stamp on, and resident baby goats and alpacas! “The venue having baby goats and alpacas in residence was a huge plus,” said Perla. “They made for some adorable photos and everyone loved petting them during cocktail hour!”

Rock n Roll Las Vegas Elopement with a Discount Universe Dress & a Ring Bear-er!

A lot of weddings follow the same format… Even non-traditional weddings can end up looking quite similar. But I think we can safely say that Pati and Francesco (aka Salsa and Disco Jesus – yes, really!) completely tore up the rule book for their Vegas elopement! Apart from the ceremony, where they were married by Elvis (arguably one of the biggest Vegas traditions there is!), everything else was one-of-a-kind and completely and utterly them.

Starting with their outfits. The bride’s dress came from Discount Universe and she wore it with United Nude shoes. They both had custom panted jackets by Bobby Coyote. “Our outfits were definitely unique because they were custom made!” said Pati. “We brainstormed them ourselves based on our lifestyle and weird interests. We have this whole thing about aliens… He proposed on the Burning Man Playa in 2018 with a beautiful UFO-shaped ring (it even spins!) so we really wanted our jackets to be about us and our story. We brainstormed the designs in this moodboard that we put together and sent to super talented LA artist Bobby Coyote. She really worked her magic and painted them for us! In typical Disco Jesus fashion, Francesco wasn’t even wearing a shirt underneath!”

Neon Graveyard Las Vegas Elopement with a Blue Wedding Dress

Gina and Russ weren’t into the idea of having a traditional wedding – instead they wanted something intimate and just about them and their daughter. They were inspired by other elopements in Rock n Roll Bride, and their love for the States, and so their Las Vegas elopement was born!

“We wanted to get married somewhere unusual,” said Gina, “and stumbled upon The Neon Museum on Pinterest. I love comic book artwork, so having a colourful, vintage style backdrop for our photos was cool, and being surrounded by the history of Vegas felt a very unique experience.” They also wanted to tie their wedding into a big road trip of California, so everything fell into place quite quickly after finding the perfect venue.

Laid Back Las Vegas Wedding with a Neon Graveyard Ceremony & Pizza Reception

When Brit and Joe decided to get married, they knew pretty quickly that a big wedding was not going to be for them. So, they decided to scrap their plans for a big wedding back home in England, and flew to sin City with their nearest and dearest instead. They really just wanted a laid back day where they could feel like themselves, get some great photos and eat pizza!

“We didn’t really set a budget”, began Brit, “But we didn’t want to spends loads either. We actually booked and planned a wedding in the UK, even though we wanted to go away and do it, but I think we were doing it for others and not ourselves. We then realised a big expensive wedding wasn’t what we wanted at all so we cancelled everything and and booked a three week trip to Vegas, LA and San Francisco.”

Intimate Las Vegas Wedding with a Black Dress & Neon Green Veil!

Christine and Eddie’s elopement is like a lot of the Vegas weddings we feature in so much as they had a quickie quickie chapel ceremony and spent the afternoon waltzing around the city taking fabulous photos. The thing that really made their day stand out to us though was Christine’s INCREDIBLE one-of-a-kind outfit, it’s not every day we see a bride rocking a (home made!) neon green veil!

They were married in August at A Little White Wedding Chapel. “The idea for our wedding was for it to be Vegas, fun and intimate”, said the bride. “We honestly did not use much for inspiration, we wanted to just do our own thing and do it in a way that we would love and remember. We wanted to keep it about us and just have fun with it.”

“I definitely think our outfits were very unique. They are not something that a bride and groom normally wear. I always loved the idea of having a black wedding dress and my green veil was  just green tulle I bought and put in with bobby pins! Eddie’s gold suit went perfect with my black dress and the wedding location. I also had a necklace made that says ‘Edine’, which is the couple name we gave ourselves.”

Las Vegas Elopement with a Neon Museum Ceremony & a Ghost Town Photo Shoot!

Terry and Jess said their vows in September at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas followed by photos at the iconic Seven Magic Mountains and Nelson Ghost Town. Their wedding was just the two of them, and they actually only their parents that they were going to get married just before they left for their ‘holiday’.

“It was just us, our lady officiant and our awesome photographer for the day”, they said. “We stayed off the strip and headed out into the desert for photos at Nelson’s Landing, Seven Magic Mountains and a dry lake bed. It was eight hours of dry, sandy hotness topped off with Mexicana grub at Nacho Daddy!
