Heather and Riley are met in Afghanistan in 2013 when they were both deployed to Kandahar from their respective countries (Riley from Australia and Heather from the US). At the time of their wedding Riley was still deployed in Iraq and flew out to Vegas for their ceremony! He then had to return to Iraq immediately after their honeymoon, just two weeks later. They wanted their wedding to be a bit of old Hollywood glam mixed with some of their favourite things including tacos, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Batman and tattoos!

Is there any wedding more Rock n Roll Bride than a Vegas elopement and a silver sequin dress? Getting married in December with a £6000 budget, Nic and Loz decided Sin City was the perfect spot for them. The ceremony was held at The Little White Wedding Chapel and afterwards they wandered around Fremont Street, Seven Magic Mountains, the Vegas Sign and Caesars Palace for photos. They ended the night with a 30 inch pizza from Pin Up Pizza which they ate back in their hotel room.

It's no big secret that I love Las Vegas and it's weddings! I've been four times now and I'm always desperate for an excuse to go back. On my last trip we visited and fell in love with Red Rock Canyon, which is just a 25 minute car journey away from the Strip. It has to be one of the most beautiful and dramatic landscapes I've ever seen with my own eyes so you can imagine how much I love that Jen and Mike shot their wedding day portraits there!

They flew over to Las Vegas to elope, but Sally and Stuart still wanted a party back home in Birmingham to celebrate with their loved ones. "Our wedding was themed around kitsch, Vegas and movies with cheesecake", said the bride. "We had a Las Vegas elopement on Valentine's day because we visited the travel agent on a whim during Christmas and found ourselves with six weeks to organise our outfits! We got married at The Little White Wedding Chapel by Elvis. Our friends and family watched over the internet and when we got back, we promised our family and friends a party so we wanted to bring a bit of Vegas to them."

Laura and Dom got engaged at the Grand Canyon while on a trip to Las Vegas. As they both love the city and 1950s glam, they decided that should be their wedding theme. Laura wore a red wedding dress, and they had a polka dot theme for the bridal party; the bridesmaids wore 50s style polka dot dresses and the groomsmen had polka dot pocket squares. For entertainment they had casino tables, a pianist, and Laura did a choreographed dance with her dad.

Anne-Marie and Patrick flew out to the Nevada desert for their elopement. They hired Victoria of Flora Pop to officiant their intimate ceremony. "I had been looking at weddings on Rock n Roll Bride for three years!", said the bride, "So I knew I wanted something quirky and with kawaii style for our wedding. We wanted to keep things small and just for us - this definitely wasn't the usual traditional wedding. It was just like we wanted. About two people in love, not about everyone else, just us."
