Terri and Brad had a woodland themed wedding in - surprisingly - a woodland! The venue for both their ceremony and reception was the Pecanwood Estate. "We wanted our wedding to be casual and symbolise the reason for celebrating the day, which was our love for each other", explained Terri. "Our budget was small and wanted to utilise things that we already had or things that we could make out of wood or paper keep it simple. The theme was based around swallows because they symbolise our love for each other. The day before Brad proposed to me we were at a tattoo convention in Cape Town and he suggested we get matching swallow tattoos. Swallows choose a mate for life, and will only nest with that bird and no other, we had them placed on his hand and my wrist as if they were flying into each other."

On a hot and humid New York day Gala, Shauna and I headed over (under?) the water to Bushwick to hang out with our friends at Rent Patina. The air was heavy and thick and the heat was stifling but we hopped on the subway with a spring in our step, excited about what they had in store for us. They were shooting their brand new lookbook and we, of course, jumped at the chance to play dress up and get involved.

Getting married in a village called Lover has got to be some kind of augury for a loving and wonderful marriage right? It also makes for some pretty damn cute photos! Benji and Sally's amazing homespun wedding just oozed L.O.V.E. Married in the local church, the reception took place in the old vicarage gardens, the bride's parent's home, in two tipis which they rented for the occasion.

Niki and Andrew were married at Fazeley Studios, Birmingham in April. Their wedding had a boho circus theme and they used some of my all time favourite Brummy suppliers to make it happen. The amazing AVA Event Styling made all their décor dreams a reality. They had a small wedding which meant they could invest a lot more of their budget on making the space look utterly amazing.

When Kirsty and Steve planned to marry they knew they wanted tradition to play no part in it. This started with their surname. Instead of keeping their own names or one of them taking the other's they decided to merge their two names to create a brand new one. So Kirsty Foster and Steve Pate became Mr & Mrs Fate! When it came to capturing their wedding day they wanted photos that were bright, romantic, playful, with a little kooky edge. They found We Heart Pictures through Rock n Roll Bride and couldn't have been happier with their choice! They wedding took place on June 7th at Hoxton Hall, London.

Always wanting to do a wedding inspiration shoot with a difference, photographer Sharon Cooper finally found her mojo when she came up with this hotch-potch and patchwork theme. "I wanted to do something that packed a punch and used a range of uplifting colours", she explained, "an alternative to weddings which have one single colour theme. This shoot embodies pleasing mixed colours and offers a smorgasbord of individualism. I found myself loving patchwork and texture and colour."

I'm not gonna lie, I've been a bit rubbish this week. After launching the headpiece collection (eeek, still sounds so exciting to say that!) on Monday I've done not much more then send a few emails, squeal with excitement every time an order comes in and stare at all your lovely comments on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Lord only knows what I'm going to be like when you all start posting photos of you actually wearing them!

Louise and Pete's Belfast manor house wedding was full to bursting with cute, quirky and retro DIY details. The bride wore a polka dot Candy Anthony wedding dress and looked every but the mid-century starlet with her beehive hair do and classically gorgeous make up. "We definitely had a retro themed wedding", Louise explained. "I took inspiration from Hairspray (especially when it came to my hair!) and had a pink polka dot 50s style dress. Pete had a teddy boy-esque suit. We played 60s garage songs during the drinks reception and 60s girl groups afterwards. We asked all our male guests to wear bow ties, which they did, including my 5 month old nephew!"

Allana and Jared were married at Strand West in Amsterdam, a little known beach club 10 mins from Amsterdam Central Station. They wanted a laid back, budget friendly wedding that reflected them. The bride designed her own dress through Dolly Couture, the bride's aunt did the flowers and they designed their own stationery. They also decorated the venue themselves.

David and Kelly's wedding was held at The Riviera Palm Springs Resort. The day have a classic 1950s retro vibe with monochrome details and elegant and timeless glamour throughout. "The inspiration for our wedding was classic, retro glamour", explained Kelly. "I love everything that embodies the 1950s: the cars, the clothing, the glamour. Women were so put together in such a classy way. I'm a sucker for the old glamour and how people dressed to a 'T' back in those days. People dressed up when they went out. They took pride in their appearances. Short shorts and flip-flops did not cut it when going out on the town. I'm just very classic and 'old school' when it comes to these types of details. I feel that I represent this ideal everyday (even though I do own a pair of flip flops and do wear them every once in a while!)"

I’ve been a Crown and Glory obsessive ever since I first saw her beautiful pieces on the pages of a glossy magazine. I distinctively remember being sat on a busy train flicking through Company and being stopped in my tracks (boom, boom!) as I saw her gorgeous flower crowns and glitter bows in one of their fashion editorials. So not to forget to check them out online later, I snapped a photo and tweeted “Note to self, check out @crownandglory_!”

Veronica and Craig are pretty much obsessed with their camper van, so when wedding photographer Lisa Devlin asked them if they'd like to model for her upcoming Photography Farm, a 3-day residential photography workshop in the heart of Sussex, they asked if it could get in on the action too! From there an idea started to form for the shoot and Lisa, alongside florist and stylist extraordinaire Hannah of The Tea Set, came up with the concept of a Summer of Love theme.

This week has been busy but delightful. I signed off on my two big projects (one of them will be hitting the blog on Monday - watch this very excited space!) and spent an evening with Gareth at a spa (yes, it was just as wonderful as it sounds). Then yesterday I hotfooted it to London to speak at the fabulous Papergirls Paperfest conference followed by one to many cocktails with Debs, Lucy and Abbey. Despite speaking to them all pretty much every day I haven't seen them in forever and it was just beyond magnificent to catch up in person.

Matt and Brig wanted their Brighton wedding to have a real community feel. It was also super important to them that it was eco-friendly and they used local suppliers as much as possible. "We met 15 years ago but at the time we were both with other partners", Brig explained. "Matt was the carpenter on an eco self build house that I was about to live in. Our kids were the same ages. We lost contact for about 10 years and then bumped into each other at Patchfest and we hung out for a while...4 years later we were married. Matt proposed on the Brighton Wheel on November 5th 2012."
