The Greatest Showman was a big inspiration for Jenn and Sean's Pittsburgh wedding. They took vintage carnival elements, mixed it with a black and red gothic aesthetic and created magic! They even had circus performers at both the ceremony and reception. Stilt walkers acted as flower girls and when they said 'We do', a fire breather blew out a big fireball!

Julie and Peter's October 31st wedding was held at a park, local to their home. They used the park's nature centre (which is actually where they first met. The the bride was was giving a talk about the black market wildlife trade in Southeast Asia) to host their food and drinks, but the majority of the day was outside. Their wedding date was also four years to the day of their first official date.

Although Sam and Mikey had to postpone their 200-perrson dream October wedding, they didn't have to wait very long. They only pushed back until November and with the help of the bride's mother and grandmother; who made masks for everyone, blankets and shawls for the bridesmaids, they were able to reschedule in record time.

Linsey and Allison met on Tinder, and were crazy about each other from the moment they met! When it came to planning their September wedding, they were inspired by the barn and outdoor space at Garden Gate at Haley Farm in Maine, New England. “Our vision was captivating design and lush florals,” the couple told us, “to go alongside the beauty of the property. Our love for jewel tones was also an inspiration! We loved having so much outdoor space in the lawns and the back deck. We wanted an outdoor seating area the moment we saw the back deck.”

For the theme of the day they wanted to focus on the outdoors, and even for the indoor portions, they chose things that reflected their love of nature. Influenced by all the wonderful bees in the lavender surrounding the venue, their woodland theme was born.

They chose Venachar Lochside as the location for their stunning October wedding and Mazz and Alex made all their decisions for the day based on what did or did not spark joy. The bride wore a full purple/ dusky rose ensemble - from her Rosie Red Corsetry dress, painted shoes (which she did herself!) and even her freshly dyed hair. The flowers were a mix of purple and red, to compliment Alex' tartan, and they had pumpkins all over the place to reflect the season.

They included their love of rock music, military, their dogs, board games, tattoos and glitter. All in all they put their focus of crafting a day that was unique to them, and to ensure their guests were well fed and well entertained!
