Sarah loves decorating her and Richard’s house for Christmas, so this drew the first inspiration for the couple’s November wedding day. “We wanted a family friendly, rustic yet glamorous, cosy and romantic winter wedding,” explained Sarah. “I love decorating the house for Christmas with rustic, old fashioned decorations and lots of winter foliage, and wanted to capture that coziness for our wedding. I also love all things vintage, especially 1950s and Rockabilly, and had to give a nod to the styles I love so much.”Read more...

James and Bex go to Glastonbury every single year, but as there was no festival in 2018, they decided they would get married on the same weekend and host their own! The day was held at The Pheasantry Brewery, near their home in Nottinghamshire. As well as making their day feel perfect for them, their family and in particular their children ,were a really important part of the day. Between them they have five kids, two each from previous relationships and the youngest, Frank, together. They even painted Frank's buggy with the pyramid stage and portraits of Michael Eavis and Dave Grohl on it!Read more...

As a young, queer, non-religious, vegan couple, Jazz and Atticus didn’t feel the need to fit any traditional ideas of what a wedding should be. “We filled our wedding with nods to who we really are, that those who are in the know would recognise, but that the great-aunties would be totally oblivious to,” said Jazz.Read more...

Nick and Inés' didn't really have inspiration for how they wanted their wedding day to look and feel: "To be honest," said Inés, "we just threw together a bunch of stuff that we loved and hoped for the best!" They ended up with a day filled with childhood nostalgia - from the retro toy decorations collected from scouring eBay, charity shops and their parents attics, to the childhood photos of themselves that adorned every table at their reception.Read more...

Chris and Ashley knew they wanted a quirky venue for their wedding but weren’t willing to compromise on food, and the National Railway Museum in York ticked all those boxes. Featuring a fine dining menu, a vintage train carriage and a twinkly light backdrop, it was perfect for what they wanted! In fact with such good decorations already in place at the museum, the couple felt it needed very little in the way of further decor - they had just centrepieces, light up letters and cherry blossom trees to dress the reception area.Read more...
