Light and Airy Halloween Wedding in Swansea

Melanie and Adam's October wedding was a super cute take on a Halloween theme, keeping everything super light, bright and airy at Oldwalls in Gower, Swansea. As an ex practical-SFX artist and with it being Melanie's favourite holiday, the couple wanted to evoke the imagery and colours, but most importantly the fun of it for all of their friends and family to enjoy. It was also a non-negotiable that her rescue chihauhau, Periwinkle, was able to take part in the day.

Although they’d gone to the same school and have family members who’ve known each other since they were tiny, Kirsten and Jack's paths didn’t cross until a Christmas Eve pub visit in 2013. They had their first date that same Boxing Day and have been together ever since! As it has a way of doing, life tried to throw a spanner in the works when a month into their relationship, Jack was offered a job in Nice. They did long distance for a year and then Kirsten followed her heart and moved to France to be with Jack. It’s there, after three years, that they got engaged, so it made sense for the South of France to feature heavily in their Glaswegian wedding!

I would say Jess and Kenny's wedding day was nothing short of magic, but that would be wrong: it was nothing short of spiritual and stunning. As lovers of the desert, and frequent visitors to Joshua Tree for quick getaways, they knew they had to get married out there. They also wanted to incorporate a little of their Native American background into the day, mixed with their love of Rock n Roll. What resulted was a desert bohemian wedding that is the stuff of dreams.

Jessica and Steven married like film stars just a couple of days after Christmas at the impressive Las Vegas Production Studios. They said their "I dos" on a sound stage with cotton candy lighting in the background (crafted by the bride's dad, who has worked at the venue for years)... plus a teddy bear. Yes, you heard me right! The bride explained, "We have a bear joke within the family, so we had a ring bear come down from the rafters instead of a ring bearer. Only six people or so got it, but it was worth it. I'm so glad the entire thing is in the video on our website!"

Being a florist who has worked in the wedding industry for twenty years, Sarah Jo knew she wanted to do something completely different when she married her long term partner (they'd been together 15 years!) Dan. Both performers at heart who's friendship began in a band almost two decades ago, they decided that the only thing for it was to have a rock concert wedding! But not just a concert themed wedding, to put on an ACTUAL ROCK CONCERT and get married up on stage in between performances.

Jess and Sven’s weekend long Scandi-boho inspired festival wedding was as laidback as they are, and organised in just FOUR MONTHS! “We work abroad for most of the year, running a sailing boat in the Med,” said Jess. “So despite being engaged for well over a year, we hadn’t made any effort to even set a date.” On a whim in May 2017, they couple decided on that very September, and then planned and organised the whole thing from Mallorca!

Kornelia and Gareth's gorgeous Tuscan festival wedding is proof that the enormity of wedding planning is really worth it, as they were bringing friends and family from literally all over the world (they now reside in Shanghai, China, but met in London, and Kornelia is originally from Poland via Australia!) Their week-long "Charlo-palooza" - "a day is definitely not enough time!" - was essentially a holiday for all of the people they love, and they really got involved in all the small details to make it perfect. And they looked sensational whilst doing it - Kornelia's Zac Posen-esque dress is the stuff of dreams.
