The very best thing about running Rock n Roll Bride is the HUGE variety of wedding themes and styles that we see. People often ask me if I ever get bored at looking at or talking about weddings and my answer is always the same - how the hell could I get bored when I see such creativity and variety every day!? Ciara and Rowen's wedding falls firmly into the creativity camp. They took a classic vintage theme and added some David Lynch references, turning what could have been quite a traditional wedding on it's head.

The wedding theme for Catherine and Tom's summer celebration was simply all their favourite things coming together into a colourful mish-mash. This translated to colourful flowers, homemade cakes, high street outfits and a fun-filled barn reception. They tied up lots of greenery from the woods with ribbons along one wall of the space and because the barn didn’t have lighting, they strung up loads of festoon and fairy lights for the evening.

Love. Family. Keeping things Simple. These were the three key things Vanessa and Clotilde wanted to focus on for their July wedding. They said their vows in front of only their nearest and dearest at the quirky venue, Downstairs at the Department Store in Brixton. Afterwards they hosted a joy-filled reception at Upstairs at t the Department Store, a brand new restaurant and bar. They didn't want to spend a lot either, with their budget maxed out at £5000.

Charlie and Mark had a pretty unconventional, NSFW engagement shoot (which is actually one of my favourites we've ever published!) so, unsurprisingly, their September wedding shunned tradition too. They decided that they wanted a bohemian inspired by with elements of Peaky Blinders and Wes Anderson. They did lots of DIY projects to make their day feel really special and personal. In particular they arranged all the flowers and created all the paper goods (invites, table plan, order of the day etc).

Em and Tam were married in August at Court Farm in Standerwick, a lovingly restored 16th Century farmhouse set in ten acres of gardens and grounds in the heart of the English countryside. It was the perfect backdrop for their laid back day. They wanted their wedding to feel vibrant yet folky and they were inspired by vintage Americana, retro elements and Mexico.

They met at an alternative bar in Camden, "Not the most romantic setting.
