A decade after they were set up on a blind date, Chris and Stephen married in a Pagan ceremony at The Hamlet Court Hotel in Meath, Ireland on 3rd May 2019. As they are both musicians and go to a lot of concerts together, they wanted a lot of musical influence over the day. Chris originally wanted to get married outdoors, like a 'real Pagan', so they tried to have some woodsy touches too to bring the outside in - and so their weird and wonderful wedding theme was formed!

Lizzie and Nick were halfway to planning a traditional white wedding when they decided to do a 180 and decided to get hitched at Glastonbury instead! They wanted to create a joyful, silly, stress-free celebration of their love that they’d remember forever, and choose their happy place their location. Armed with £1000, they did the admin part in London the morning of the wedding and then hotfooted it down to Somerset to have a friend officiate a ceremony that they wrote themselves.

Armed with a $35,000 (AUD) budget, Kelli and Gerard set about finding themselves a venue to host their day. They settled on Gum Gully Farm, situated in the beautiful foothills of the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, a rustic and intimate space that felt just perfect for them as it was laid back and easygoing. It also had the perk that they were able to bring in their alcohol for the staff to serve, which helped to keep costs down.
