Sarah loves decorating her and Richard’s house for Christmas, so this drew the first inspiration for the couple’s November wedding day. “We wanted a family friendly, rustic yet glamorous, cosy and romantic winter wedding,” explained Sarah. “I love decorating the house for Christmas with rustic, old fashioned decorations and lots of winter foliage, and wanted to capture that coziness for our wedding. I also love all things vintage, especially 1950s and Rockabilly, and had to give a nod to the styles I love so much.”

In doing their initial research, Sarah and Brian quickly started to realise that for the price of a traditional package wedding at a hotel or resort, they could instead piece it together using the people, places and things they already loved. “Using our everyday favourite things as inspiration for our day made decisions easier and the wedding itself feel authentic and real.” said Sarah.

James and Bex go to Glastonbury every single year, but as there was no festival in 2018, they decided they would get married on the same weekend and host their own! The day was held at The Pheasantry Brewery, near their home in Nottinghamshire. As well as making their day feel perfect for them, their family and in particular their children ,were a really important part of the day. Wow, wow, wow! Get yourself ready because you are going to LOVE Hannah and Andy's wedding! They were married on 7th September 2018, their eight year anniversary, at Allerton Castle, a beautiful gothic castle in Yorkshire where some scenes of The Secret Garden were filmed. They wanted their day to feel personal and although they ended up spending quite a bit more than they originally planned, they have absolutely no regrets! The day was opulent, dramatic and just what the bride always wanted.

If you've picked up a copy of my book, then you may recognise Dafna and Eylon as their Las Vegas elopement is one of the real weddings featured inside. I LOVED those images and their story so much! Although they always wanted to get married in Vegas, they also wanted to celebrate with their loved ones back home in Tel Aviv, so it was the perfect excuse to have for a second wedding. The day was held at Bascula, a cultural arts centre that is home to a circus.

George and Antoinette met when they both moved to Milan to study fashion, meeting through a mutual friend that also attended the school. “We have actually been together for 12 years,” said Antoinette, “but because we both have a very rebellious spirit we didn’t want to give in to all the social and family pressure to actually get married, it wasn’t a priority for either of us. When we finally decided to do it, we wanted it to be more of a celebration of the past 12 years and as well as starting a new future together.”
