Kira and Stephen opted for a boozy brunch reception, complete with dancing, followed by an after party in a hotel lobby. This couple were the epitome of laid back with their plans, choosing things which made the day enjoyable for everyone rather than sticking to tradition. There was no cake (who needs one when you've got so many delicious pastries!?) and the bridesmaid wore whatever they wanted. The groom and his groomsmen opted to match in bright blue suits.

Hannah and Mike postponed their wedding by almost a year due to COVID, finally tying the knot on April 3rd 2021. Although they organised most of it last year so weren't totally sure how much they spent, they know they wanted to keep the day affordable, with their only big cost being entertainment - in fact it was most of the budget! The groom works in the wedding industry so was able to call in favours and have friends make the food and cake, they didn't bother with centrepieces or flowers and they asked their guests to bring their own drinks.

Nicole and Brandon are both huge music fans so they wanted to incorporate music into as many details of their wedding as possible. From the invitations which were record and cassette tape designs, to the flowers made from sheet music and even the centrepiece which were all instruments. The favours were guitar picks, magnets, buttons and stickers and were set up like a merch table and the music that played throughout and the reception was a combination of guest requests (which they asked on the RSVP cards) and their own favourites
