"Before we started planning, we sat down for an hour or so and each quietly broke out our thoughts for every aspect of our vision", said the bride. "We quickly realised that we had very similar, if not the same thoughts on almost everything. I can’t say that anything in particular inspired us other than our desire to make a unique experience for our guests that showcased our personality and taste, without the regular formality and stuffiness of a wedding."

"It was only natural that we decided to join the Brummy gang for our wedding day", Helen explained. "Also, Rich's father grew up not that far from the real Peaky Blinders gang, he has Irish heritage, and I have always been obsessed by the 1920s. It just made sense."

Victoria and Matthias were married in in Braunschweig, Germany. Their wedding had a distinctive 1960s vibe to it. "We had peachy, cream and gold colours", the bride said. "Our inspiration was the fashion and music from the early 60s, as well as scenes from The Virgin Suicides. I especially the colours used in the film and the homecoming scene. I also looked at actual wedding pictures from the 50s and 60s. I particularly love Priscilla Presley's wedding day look!"
