"It's filled with fairy lights and white roses and looks so magical, so that was the starting point for the vision for our day!”

Chris and Ashley knew they wanted a quirky venue for their wedding but weren’t willing to compromise on food, and the National Railway Museum in York ticked all those boxes. Featuring a fine dining menu, a vintage train carriage and a twinkly light backdrop, it was perfect for what they wanted! In fact with such good decorations already in place at the museum, the couple felt it needed very little in the way of further decor - they had just centrepieces, light up letters and cherry blossom trees to dress the reception area.

Steve and Justine’s wedding day was a full of surprises, for the couple and their guests. The whole groom's party had to spend the morning of the wedding moving everything inside as they were hit by a snowstorm - in October! Steve’s gift to Justine was two replica WWE tag team championship belts. Instead of traditional champagne for welcome drinks, they served coffee that was ground by the couple themselves. They announced their pregnancy during their speeches, and had a grime/rap artist as their evening entertainment!

There were so many sparks on Dan and Annaliese’s first date that they decided to theme their wedding after them! “We were living about an hour apart at the time so that first date was a bit reluctant to be honest,” said Annaliese. “Although I thought Dan looked cute and funny, we both just thought the distance was a stumbling point. I jokingly said to a friend that I’d probably only go on one date with Dan, unless ’Sparks are showering the floor like a welding shop’.” Fortunately, that was exactly how she felt about that first date!
