Katherine and Jason's wedding was like something out of a movie, and was a real community effort. They rented a cabin for all their guests to stay in the week before. The day itself started with a first look, right by the water, followed by an intimate and nature-inspired ceremony. They served burritos and dessert bought from Costo and the day ended with them skinny dipping!Read more...

Karen and Dean were married in the ruins of Ettington Park's chapel in October. Their day had a gothic theme which was reflected in the bride's choice of black wedding dress (made by The Couture Company), their Black Cherry Cake Company cake and all the decorations. They used skeletons, trailing ivy, dramatic candelabras with black candles and purple and black flowers.Read more...

So this might not be a real wedding, in fact it was a photo shoot done in about 20 minutes before they lost the light, but I think you'll agree it's gorgeous enough to warrant a feature. In fact I may love these shots more than some of my own wedding photos - ha! Prepare to be INSPIRED.Read more...

Rosie and Alex's beautiful early summer wedding was held at Hothorpe Hall in Leicestershire. The fantastic thing about their venue was that they were able to be married outside in the woodlands, like they always wanted. This helped to set the theme of their day.Read more...

Engagement shoots don't get any better than this. Taking place in Italy, where the couple live, it just screams love, happiness and damn good style. Isn't that what being a Rock n Roll bride is all about!?Read more...

I have two very distinct sides to my personality: A rainbow loving, magpie emulating, glitter obsessive, 'Disney is everything!' side and an all-black-all-the-time, metal music listening, 'forever looking for the perfect nude lipstick' side. I am nothing if not a contradiction but for some reason it makes total sense to me. One day I want to roll myself in glitter, dress head to toe in rainbows and slick on some hot pink lipstick, and the next I only want to wear black and for everything to be clean and very neatly organised.Read more...

I'm not going to lie, I have a bit of a soft spot for Disney weddings and I'm pretty sure you're all going to love this just as much as I do! That cake, the Mickey and Minnie balloons, the perfectly executed themed tables and, of course, the bride's Cinderella shoes... I mean, there's just SO much to love!Read more...

Choosing a venue has got to be, in my opinion anyway, one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding. Not only is it usually one of the first things you have to do (you can’t really organise anything else until you know where the day will be taking place!) but its hugely time consuming. Narrowing down your search by venue type, location and budget… then comparing packages and prices to make sure you get the best deal and that everything you need is included with no hidden surprises is, quite frankly, a bloody nightmare.Read more...

Claire and Tom went for a Mexican/Day of the Dead theme for their July wedding. Complete with sugar skulls, piñatas, flamingos and sombreros, they planned their day with a £5000 budget. They also had a few geeky video game touches (particularly on their cake) such as Fallout and zombies and some Lego used in the terrariums!Read more...

Brides wearing leather or denim jackets is nothing new (in fact I'd say it's probably one of the 'trends' I see more than anything else these days!) So, when a bride is able to take something we see a lot, twist it on it's head and make it 100% her own, well we are DOWN. That's precisely what Gia did when she married Adam in August. She wore a quite traditional dress but added a twist of 'her' with her custom made jacket by Charlotte Hudson.Read more...

Please allow me to be a broken record because HOT DAMNNNN, I am so thrilled with this cover! Nailing a cover-worthy shot is one of the most difficult/ stressful parts of creating a magazine so when we get it this right it fills my heart with JOY! I'm not even going to be modest about it because I literally love it so much. That glittery eye! The fluffy jacket! Her beautiful hair perfectly framing our logo - ugh it's all so good! I really hope you love it too.Read more...

it's been a while since I've given you any kind of house renovation updates because the reality is.. there hasn't been anything to report! This year has been rather insane on the work-front for me, and Gareth was pretty much wiped out after doing the kitchen in a month (!) so we've been taking a bit of a break from it all. Of course we've done odd-little jobs here and there but nothing really exciting enough to write about.Read more...

Hold onto your handbags because my goodness do we have an utter beaut of a wedding for you today! Jody and Shane were married last summer and it was GLORIOUS. They met at an alternative bar in Camden, "Not the most romantic setting. I was climbing a pole into the ceiling tiles, he came over interested in what this multicoloured haired ape was doing!" the bride laughed. "We danced on some tables, kissed and exchanged numbers - Love at first sight you could say!"Read more...

Aww Stacey and Ben might be one of the cutest couples ever. Their adorable wedding to end all adorable weddings took place in Melbourne and was packed to the brim with colourful and personalised details. From the DIY flowers, the rainbow balloon arch and the bride's gorgeous pink leather jacket and pink glitter trimmed veil combo - yep, there's so much to love in this incredible celebration.Read more...

There is so much to love about Roxanne and Andrew's wedding and although they got married in June, the witchy theme, which included tarot and crystal elements to the decorations, makes it perfect to share at this time of year! One of the things I love the absolute most about this wedding is how paired back and minimal everything is - less is more and all that! This gorgeous celebration proves that you don't have to go completely overboard with the decor and theme to still have a fantastic looking event,Read more...

When you think of a Friday 13th wedding you'd be forgiven for assuming it would likely be a spooky, horror or Halloween themed bash, but Elizabeth and Adam wanted to flip this idea on its head, instead opting for a wedding theme that represented their colourful personalities! The colour scheme primarily featured hot pink, lush tropical greens and metallic gold and oh my goodness does it look all kinds of wonderful!Read more...
