Pip and Alex have always loved Halloween. Their little girl (who they call 'mouse') was even born on Halloween! They were married on 14th November and wanted their wedding to be a nod to their favourite time of year. They also wanted it to be non-traditional, and their theme was a cross between Morticia Addams and Cher! They saved for their wedding for over two years and bought what they could, when they could buy it.

Ash and Nick are both actors who have also had experience in designing, directing and film editing. They knew they wanted to do something funny and creative for their engagement shoot, rather than the standard cheesy hug-each-other-and-smile-in-a-dreamy-field kind of pictures. Massive horror and Halloween fans too, the idea of recreating some of their favourite TV and movie scenes fell into place after that!

Once they chose their Dracula and Halloween theme, the only date that Jessica and Andrew wanted to have the wedding was October 31st. "The wedding theme was 'Dinner at Dracula’s'," explained the bride. "I wanted to have the spookiness of Halloween mixed with the classiness of dining at with the Count. Harry Potter was also definitely part of my inspiration. I wanted long tables with tons of candles, over the top food bars, and an almost magical, other worldly experience for our guests."

Although they got married on Halloween, Charlie and Chris decided they wanted their wedding to have a different feel to most themed Halloween weddings. With the groom's father being from South America, a Day of the Dead theme made way more sense. "Chris’ dad is South American and he’s always loved day of the dead", explained the bride. "We both absolutely love autumn with all its vibrant copper tones and Halloween is our favourite holiday. We always celebrate it in a big way so it was an obvious choice for our wedding. We also wanted the whole thing to reflect my heritage too so the Asian influence throughout our venue, The Matara Centre, was really important."
