Dan and Cara's woodland wedding ceremony was pulled together in just 24 hours! Having their big summer wedding postponed for obvious reasons, they changed their plans to have a smaller wedding in November. However, then a second lockdown was announced just two days before they were due to get married, it meant their previously COVID-secure wedding was now a no-go too! With the help of the wedding planner at Cheshire Woodland Weddings, the registrars and their families, they re-arranged everything in just one day and were able to have their 13-guest ceremony on November 7th.

Like most couples who wed last year, Kayla and William had to make some big changes in order to have a small pandemic-friendly wedding. They were originally planning a big, country club wedding for August, which has now been postponed to 2021. However as the pair have lived apart for 4 1/2 years of their five year relationship (the groom lived in Ohio and the bride in New York), they just wanted to be married already. Their kiss after the ceremony was the first time they had kissed in over 200 days!

Unintentionally, Vicky and Jake's September became vintage London themed because they wanted to show off the city that they love. They chose Chelsea Old Town Hall as both their ceremony and reception venue, booked a vintage double decker red bus and planned their photos around some of the most iconic tourist attractions. Décor and theme wise they did keep things pretty simple, choosing simple DIY floral arrangements that let the venue be the star of the show.

Harry and Abi, affectionately known as Habi by their friends and family, planned for the big 2020 wedding which was obviously scuppered due to a little thing called the COVID-19 pandemic. However, not wanting to wait a whole year to be legally married, they kept that August 24th date and did the micro wedding thing, with an intimate ceremony at Chelmsford Register Office followed by a small, government-approved outside gathering for just a few people in their back garden.

Gema and Matt's original wedding was June 7th, on their five year anniversary, for which they'd planned to wed in New York City, honeymoon in Kuala Lumpur and Bali and then have a big pub reception back home afterwards. It was due to cost them £25k but when Covid scrapped those plans they took the opportunity to re-evaluate everything. Although they still plan to have another big wedding next year, they really didn't want to have to wait a whole year to be legally husband and wife.
