Cast your mind back to a pre-pandemic world, its early February 2020 and the first Rock n Roll Bride Live has just taken place. It was a truly fantastic day, full of the most incredible suppliers, couples and speakers. The energy in the room was electric. People whooped, cheered and cried during the talks. There were tarot readings, people doing nail art and the queue for the photo booth went half way cross the room.
We all partied together at the end of the night while the bar – lit up with fuchsia neon – served prosecco and sparkly pink unicorn gin. Everybody left with the most incredible goodie bag which people STILL talk to me about nearly three years later! This wasn’t a wedding show – it was so much more than that.
As we’re about to embark on a brand-new year and leave the craziness of the pandemic as far behind us as we possibly can, we are so excited to announce that Rock n Roll Bride Live is back and it’s going to be even bigger and better than last time. Taking place on Sunday May 14th 2023 at Hackney Town Hall, tickets are now available.
The day will run from 12pm-8pm and throughout the afternoon there will be a series of talks, panels and workshops to help you plan your wedding with passion, attitude and confidence. You’ll be able to meet and chat with the people behind some of our favourite alternative wedding brands and businesses and the day will round off with a party (drinks and canapes included!) PLUS every single attendee with leave with a mega goodie bag, the contents of which will be worth over £50!

At the event you will be able to meet and talk to 40+ incredible alternative wedding suppliers, listen to inspiring guests and speakers, take part in super fun crafting workshops and so much more! Currently confirmed are:
Rock n Roll Bride Live is so much more than just a wedding fair, it’s a full day out! Throughout the afternoon we will also be hosting demos, talks, panels and workshops all included in the ticket price! Currently confirmed are:
A vintage hair demo with Le Keux Essex, choosing the right photographer for you (and confidence in front of the camera) with Photos by Vicki, wedding day styling with Events With Akilah.
There will be a panel discussion on dealing with stress and pre-wedding anxiety (with a group hypnotherapy session led by Bad Bitch Hypnotherapy at the end) and a body positivity and confidence panel hosted by Kat Williams with Eliza Rain (with more panellists to be confirmed closer to the time).
Workshops will included a floral buttonhole workshop with Lizzie Green Flowers, sequin patches with Isolated Heroes, dried flowers with Petalhead, biscuit decorating with Risky Biscuits and more!
💕 Doors open at 12pm. The event runs until 8pm. 💕 Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred. Drop us an email if you need to change the name on the ticket. 💕 You will not receive a physical ticket. WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS & WHAT ARE THE WORKSHOPS?
The speakers and panels are still being finalised, but rest assured, they’re going to be GOOD! We will be announcing them as soon as we possibly can. Workshops will be craft/ DIY focused such as floral arranging (more rock ‘n’ roll than it sounds!), cake decorating, badge making etc. Exact details to follow!
WHICH SUPPLIERS WILL BE THERE?
We will be announcing every supplier on our Instagram account between now and the event and all confirmed exhibitors can be found above.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You should wear whatever you feel most comfortable in – whether that’s jeans and trainers or a rainbow tutu and disco ball deely boppers! We will have a professional photographer and videographer shooting the event so, if you ask us, you should dress to impress!
IS THE EVENT FOR BOYS TOO/ SHOULD I BRING MY FIANCÉ OR BRIDESMAIDS?
The event is for EVERYONE, regardless of gender. Please bring whoever you’d like.
CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Hell yes! We’ve had a few people buy solo tickets already so you won’t be the only one. We promise you, everyone at the event will be super lovely and friendly!
IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, Hackney Town Hall is fully accessible! Dogs and other animals are not permitted, with the exemption of assistance dogs. If you have a medical reason which requires you to be assisted by a dog on the day or you have concerns or questions, please email us before booking your ticket.
WHAT WILL THE FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS BE?
Light snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the day, and at the party there will be canapes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We will have vegan and gluten-free options available.
