Louise and Johan wanted their forest wedding to reflect the surroundings. They chose a neutral and natural colour palette of nudes, greenery and some black. They invested a big portion of their £180k budget on the flowers, decorations and hiring the incredible Blomboy, to bring it all together for them on the day. It was also really important to them to make sure they had the very best food and drink for their guests.

Lauren and Carl didn’t have a set theme for their June 2019 wedding; it was simply a big mix of stuff they liked and a case of putting it together to make it work! “I spent every lunch break on Pinterest and Instagram creating mood boards,” said Lauren. “I was inspired by a few things; notably the large, colourful flowers, lighting and animals from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Nights Dream, the aesthetic of Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette with the antique gold frames, mixed pastels and lavish regal vibes.”

John and Chris toyed with returning to Vegas to get married after getting engaged there in September 2015, but with young family it wouldn't have been practical, so they set about finding the perfect venue for them to be able to give their big day the feel of the glitz and glam of Vegas! Held at Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton outside of Glasgow, they worked with the coordinator there over a three year engagement to create a day that everyone would remember - and a strict ‘no hat, no entry’ policy to boot!

Married at Basingstoke Register Office with a reception at The Crown and Cushion in Minley afterwards, they had a budget of £11,000 and achieved absolutely everything they wanted.

The inspiration for Meg and Chad’s San Francisco elopement is unlucky for some - the number 13! “It’s both our favourite numbers,” said Meg, “and we originally had a wedding planned for January 13th, 2019 and were going to San Francisco for the holidays. We were planning our trip out for sight-seeing and things to do, and we look at each other and half joked about how cool it would be to get married in San Francisco! We had said though that we would only do it if we could still have 13 in our anniversary. I logged into the City Hall website, and the only date available for when we were in San Fran was October 30th - 10/30 = 13!”

Both Jade and Jamie are big fans of Halloween so knew they wanted to get married at this time of year and base the theme on that. Their initial concern was that they didn’t want anything looking too tacky and more like a Halloween party, so they focused on a mix of neon, tartan, sequins, skulls and brightly coloured pumpkins for a fresh take on theme.

Their legal courthouse ceremony was held on Halloween with their big reception party a couple of days later at Passalino’s, an events space in Downtown Louisville. They wanted their wedding to be like no other Halloween weddings, to them that meant keeping things minimal, elegant and modern - no themed props, pumpkins or skull decorations here!

Ashlie and Steph wanted a stress and fuss-free pub wedding with minimal details and things to worry about! Although they made the table numbers, photo booth and favours themselves they also didn't stress over them. The most important thing was that they had a day that felt like them and that they were married by the end of it!
