Rock n Roll Bride was built on sharing alternative, inspirational yet attainable real weddings. When I started blogging in 2007 there was no other platform showcasing weddings that sauntered off the beaten path. However through many long hours of trawling wedding forums, Flickr groups and good old fashion Google, I was able to uncover many, MANY incredibly creative, super unique real weddings that weren't being shared anywhere else  - I assume because they didn't fit the picture perfect, traditional wedding mould that was so popular a decade ago.

So this might not be a real wedding, in fact it was a photo shoot done in about 20 minutes before they lost the light, but I think you'll agree it's gorgeous enough to warrant a feature. In fact I may love these shots more than some of my own wedding photos - ha! Prepare to be INSPIRED.

I am so excited to finally be publishing this bridal fashion editorial in full today! If you grabbed yourself a copy of the last issue of Rock n Roll Bride magazine you will have already seen a lot of this shoot inside, but today I wanted to take the opportunity to not only share more images that didn't quite make the spread (when 10 pages just isn't enough!) but to tell you all about Walthamstow Wetlands, one of London's coolest new wedding venues, who we partnered with for this shoot.

Halloween is just a few weeks away so what could be a more perfect shoot to share today than this one? Inspired by Memphis (where the session took place), Halloween and autumn, the nods to the season are subtle, but effective. I'm not a massive fan of really over the top, themed Halloween shoots so this one is right up my street. In fact if I was having a Halloween wedding this is exactly how I'd style it!

Yes you read that right, I really am publishing a wedding shoot with dogs as the stars today. Why not hey!? Not only are there real life dog models but their human counterparts are rocking all manner of puppy themed clobber and the table is covered in doggie plates, kitsch ornaments and the stationery is all puppy themed. I approve!

If you picked up a copy of issue 14, you will have already seen our "Art Bride" editorial shoot that my fashion team and I put together. Doing the editorial shoots for the magazine is one of the the highlights my job. I feel very much like a character in a rom com from 2005, where the heroine works at a fancy magazine in New York when I do this kind of stuff (ha!)

Sure, you might not want to get your baps out for photos on your big day or cover your beloved's beard is gold leaf, but you've gotta appreciate how damn amazing these models look, right?!
