It’s Time for The National Wedding Show, London!

Last weekend was amazing! I have never been more exhausted, but after being at the Manchester National Wedding Show on Saturday and Sunday I've remembered how much I really, really love getting out of the office - ha! It was such fun being surrounded by other wedding obsessives, meeting new suppliers and of course hanging out with you lot! To everyone who came along, visited our stand, said hi, took a selfie with me, bought a magazine or ordered a veil, I LOVE YOU.

Robert and Katy's Scottish wedding was themed around lots of different things but skulls and 80s movies played a big part! "The wedding theme turned out to be a bit eclectic, with elements Robert loved like 80s films (they were our table names), a pork pie wedding cake and elements that had a slightly gothic feel such as a skull centrepiece at the head table and 'til death do us part' favour boxes."

Raisa and Maite, two creative and edgy girls from Holland and Germany, were married outside in August. "The overall theme was a vintage and 'til death do us part," they said. "We also had touches of a festival theme and lot of skulls and skeletons in all the props, stationery and on the cakes. We tried to make it as colourful and fun as possible. Maite has a thing for skeletons and skulls, and Raisa loves festivals and the circus so we wanted to mesh the two together."

Natalie and Aaron wanted a small wedding, that was just for them. They were married at Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne with just nine guests. "The inspiration for our wedding was to have a low key, romantic elopement with beautiful spring flowers all around us", the bride said. "We had originally planned a wedding for around 80 guests which was meant to happen next July, but after I became very anxious and stressed we decided to drop that in favour of our little ceremony. By doing a small ceremony we saved thousands of dollars too."
