Mel and Tim met when they camped next to each other at Glastonbury and when planning their wedding, their starting point was that they just wanted to have a fun party. They also wanted to avoid anything too formal and 'wedding-y'. They chose Stour Space in Hackney as their venue as it was relaxed and a little rough around the edges, which they liked. Their wedding was held in the evening, in winter, which further added to the party vibes.

"Not only do we love music festivals but without them we’d have never met", explained the bride. "We were introduced by a mutual friend that we both met completely separately at Glastonbury. He thought we were made for each other so he played cupid and introduced us, and turns out he was right."

After 10 years together they decided to get married and wanted their wedding to be an eclectic mix, representing all of their passions and loves. There's one thing you're all going to notice right away with this wedding - the brides amazing, and enormous, flower crown! I mean, wow! The best part is she made it herself. "After being quoted different prices from several places, my sister and I decided to give it a go ourselves", Robyn said. "We ordered the artificial flowers online and bought a headband from Claire's Accessories. After a few nights of pinning and gluing, on occasions having to de-glue our fingers and thumbs from the headband, we finally mastered the skill of using a glue gun and the headpiece was complete!"
