Ali's main goal for her June wedding to Mike was for it to feel modern and contemporary with a colourful edge. They chose the iconic Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs which obviously ticked all the colourful boxes! ty and Luke booked a holiday to California and Vegas, got engaged at Disneyland and then decided to elope in Vegas a week later!! Publishing real weddings is my favourite. I love to read their stories, hear all about their celebration and swoon over their creative ideas! So, when I first found out this was a shoot, and not a real elopement, I was a tad disappointed. However it turns out that models Aida and Ismeal are a real couple, and the emotions you see in these INCREDIBLE pictures are 100% real... even if they didn't officially get hitched. Samantha and Jason didn't want a colour scheme, they didn't want a big fuss and they certainly didn't want their wedding to overtake their lives. So instead of taking the traditional route, they decided to rent an AirBnB in Joshua Tree and have a low key yet perfectly 'them' wedding in the desert. Both lovers of this environment, they've spent many vacations exploring places such as Joshua Tree, Mojave, Red Rock and Death Valley. I've been virtually following Kaylah, aka The Dainty Squid, online for years (we share an obvious mutual affinity with colourful hair!) so when I saw her June wedding to long-term partner Jeff I was thrilled. Lauren (from Fife in Scotland) and Matt met while Lauren was solo travelling in the USA in 2015 - they met in New York and bonded over music, live shows and wine on a Brooklyn brownstone rooftop overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
