When the bride works in events, you KNOW her wedding is going to be flawlessly put together. Akilah was adamant she didn't want a themed day ("even the word theme perturbs us a little!" she said) but she and Richard were naturally drawn to things that worked together, which was only solidified when they found their venue, The Barn at Bury Court in Farnham. They incorporated elements like candle and lots of flowers which created a low key, yet perfectly cohesive day,

Describing their wedding theme as 'Poe-ho' (Edgar Allan Poe meets boho), Morgan and Aristotle were married in February in Texas. The inspiration was dark and moody romantic with a hint of vintage flair. Almost all of the decor (the rugs, candlesticks, vases, lanterns, etc) were sourced from vintage and antique stores. The place cards were made by the bride and her cousin, Kathleen, from tile which they wrote everyone's name on and Kathleen also painted the seating chart onto reclaimed windows.

Hollie and Adrian wanted their wedding to feel relaxed and just really chilled out. They decided to host their reception in their own back garden which meant they could do exactly what they wanted. The ceremony was held in their local parish church, just a stone's throw from home, which they decorated with all the flowers and foliage! In fact the flowers ended up being their single biggest cost of the otherwise DIY wedding, but they provided exactly the look they were after for their day.
