Alex & David's wedding was a super suave, quirky and stylish London affair. Her stunning dress was actually a modified David Fielden number and suited her perfectly - not too bridal but not too boring! The wedding took place at The Larder in Clerkenwell where the couple added their own personal stamp with DIY touches, homemade cupcakes and a Mr Wippy ice cream van handing out ice creams after the ceremony.Read more...

Right now, well what can I say that could possibly live up to these? The very lovely Rosalie of the Tea and Whimsy blog booked my buddy David McNeil for her wedding to James last month. She has gone over all the details, budget saving tricks (they only spent about £4000 on the whole thing!) and DIY gems on her site, but I'm just here to share the swoonfest that is these photographs...oh and to draw your attention to her freakin' awesome bouquet! Yes those are real (dyed) roses!Read more...

I'm sure most of blog land will have seen and heard of The Langs before without even knowing it. Their engagements, wedding, portraits and anniversary shoot (all photographed by the uber talent that is Sloan Photographers) have certainly made the rounds and with huge justification. Yes. Wow. So you can imaging my excitement and surprise to get an email from Stacie, one half of the duo to let me know that her and Geoff have ventured into wedding photography themselves and would I like to be the first blog to share some of their work...erm Hell to the YES I would. I predict big things for these guys. Mark my words, blog land will be all over these two within a matter of weeks. Anyway, lets get onto the actual wedding they sent me and boy is it a beauty. Kerri & Kyle had a carnival themed wedding and I'm not talking a few little touches - I mean full out actual carnival awesomeness! The couple did everything themselves and on a very small budget but they had the full works - An actual balloon lady, bubbles, cotton candy, photo booth, popcorn, soda bar, candy bar and of course lots of dancing! AAAAmazing. Stacie & Geoff I am honoured that you have sent your first submission to little old me. Eeek...love love love. Thank you so much for being so freakin' awesome. Photographer and rock n roll sponsor, Katja Mukhina sent me these the other day after I saw a sneak peek on her flickr stream and begged her to send the rest to me as soon as they were ready! This 'Love Story' shoot was shot and conceived without the use of photo shop. The images behind the couple are all rear projections - super vintage Hollywood cinema stylee. I can not get over these....lordy lord they are so beeeautiful. Dear all my American readers... Katja will be travelling to The States In October and staying until November. She would love to shoot some American couples in this time and I know you would love to be immortalised so glamorously. So what are you waiting for? Drop her an email already! Trsiha & John got married at Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes which is actually old marine land. Trisha told me all about it: I think that we took the traditional/ all American black, red, and white wedding and added some wild flare and edgy fun! I wanted something wild yet simple and romantic all at the same time! My dress was by Bonny. My bridesmaid dresses were by Watters & Watters. The guys tux's were from Mens Warehouse and my flowergirl wore a tutu was from chasing fireflies and adorable red, sparkly converse trainers! Oh how I adore Sloan Photographers. I really really do. I say that a lot and about a lot of people but come on...these are way too amazing for words! As soon as I saw Tiphany & Jamie's wedding I was right on to getting these bad boys featured on Rock n Roll Bride. Lucky for me (and you!) the guys were ever so happy to oblige and here we have it. What I love the most is that the bride in in yellow Converse! No uncomfortable shoes for her. If this isn't rock n roll then quite frankly I don't know what is. ps Word on the street is that Matt & Angie have just shot an engagement shoot with a fuschia haired bride. Eeek I can't wait to see those! Thanks guys for sharing these. You are the best! Credit: Sloan PhotographersRead more...

Boudoir shoots are certainly becoming more and more the norm nowadays. They are almost part of the package now - engagement shoot, boudoir shoot, bridal shoot, wedding day, day after shoot... Warning the photographs after the jump contain nudity and may not be safe for work! However Noa of Feather Love Photography has decided that boudoir shoots, although fabulous, need to be shook up somewhat. Gone are the overly sexy, satin undies and over the top 'gamour' poses and in their place...well what you see here. A celebration of the female form with a real retro, 1970's vibe...I love. Thanks Noa. I love these! Credit: Feather Love PhotographyRead more...
