I have a very exciting week ahead of me (all will be revealed soon!) but I’ve just got time to share this beautiful film (shot in the UK oh yes) sent to me by reader
Andy. It has such a gorgeous vintage 70’s vibe and I just adore it! Soak it up baby…

Rustic, Bohemian & Music-Filled Wedding
May 21, 2017
Amy and John wanted to be married outside and for their wedding to have a bohemian and rustic vibe. Both being massive music lovers, that was also always going to be a big part of the celebrations. They had a rock and blues band (who are all their friends) as their entertainment and the bride sang with them in the evening too!
Leicestival: A Music Festival Wedding

Dan and Sophie's wedding was dubbed 'Leicestival' (based on their surname). They wanted the wedding to reflect a live music vibe as they both love music, festivals in particular.

Vintage Sixties & Seventies Inspired Wedding
September 21, 2016
Natasha and Shaun's wedding had a vintage 60s and 70s theme to reflect their love of retro fashion, music and style. They're both obsessed with The Beatles so that had a big influence too.
Retro Art Deco Kitsch
July 13, 2010
I LOVE a bit of retro kitsch and Caroline & Jim couldn't be more perfect at pulling this off if they tried. The shoot took place in their own Art Deco apartment in Brighton (just check out the exterior shots!) which has been decorated with an eclectic mix of bits and bobs collected from all over and ranging in era from the 1920's right through to the 1970's. I adore everything from the authentic mirror, clocks and Princess Anne collectible mugs to the incredible wallpaper and all the retro furniture.
Jim is 'Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer' , a brilliant musician playing all over the country at gigs, weddings, parties and festivals. Caroline has a complete passion for fashion as she works in the fashion industry in London. The pair both embrace everything retro and nostalgic in fashion and styling, so their style was spot on for this style of shoot. The couple both wore all their own clothes to give a completely genuine portrayal of themselves and who they are as a couple.
Retro British Street Party Wedding: Elisa & Ricky
October 29, 2013
Elisa and Ricky were married only a year after meeting in a bar at the end of the Olympic Opening Ceremony (on 27th of July 2012). Although she wasn't interested at first, and after turning down his number a bunch of times, she eventually agreed to go out with him about two weeks later! "After six hours of talking that night, I decided I would give him a go and It’s been a whirl wind romance since. I still can't believe it", she explained.
Retro Cartoon Wedding: Daisy & Leigh
Tux and Tales
August 20, 2013
Daisy and Leigh's retro wedding themed came about because they knew they wanted anything but a traditional day. "We decided to go down the retro/ vintage theme, but I also didn't want it to be the typical ‘vintage’ wedding style that is everywhere at the moment!" Daisy wrote. "I also didn't want a traditional sit-down meal so we had afternoon tea complete with cocktails served in teapots. The wedding eventually became about all of the things we love from the 1950s to the 1990s! I wanted our wedding to be really unpretentious and for everyone to have lots of fun."
Retro Kitsch British Wedding: Lynne & Stevie
November 23, 2012
We may be well on our way towards the depths of winter (waah!) but I thought I'd just cling onto those hazy Summer days for just a little while longer by sharing Lynne & Stevie's June wedding. The quintessentially British vibe perfectly accompanied by vintage and retro touches was just too good to pass up.
