Daniel & Caroline were married in Chateau Puits es Pratx in Ginestas, in the south-west of France. The gorgeous surroundings provided the perfect backdrop to their rustic wedding. "The Chateau is only a few miles from Dan's dad's house in a nearby town, so it is an area of France we have visited often and know well," the bride told me. "We knew from the off that we wanted our friends to help us celebrate our wedding in this beautiful place and the Chateau fitted our requirements perfectly - cottages on site, and a self-contained venue for a long weekend of fun! We wanted the weekend to feel like a party in a stunning venue, with good company, great food and endless wine. Simple!"

Charlotte & Cédric were married in Toulouse, France, at a former rural hospital founded in 1735 by the Bishops of St. Bertrand de Comminges. The homemade cakes and DIY flower arrangements made this wedding personal as well as saved the pennies. The bride also made the giant pink pom pom flowers which lined the church aisle herself too.

When this photo shoot landed in my inbox this week with the description "Barbie & Ken's wedding" I thought oh christ...what's this?! However I've got to say that as soon as I saw the photographs my initial sceptism and preconceptions were totally irradicated. I laughed as I looked at each photo, set up to show Barbie & Ken getting married and photographed in the way an actual wedding might be. The quality of the photos are totally brilliant - and there lies the hilarity.

Quite apart from swooning my ass off over these gowns, I'm pretty much smitten with photographer Anissa Rahail's unusual but perfectly placed use of colour.

Part two of today's continental invasion comes from French photographer Davidone who sent over Pierre & Christine's Circus themed wedding just last week. Christine is a famous illustrator and Pierre is a photographer himself, so needless to say their wedding was going to be super creative and beautiful captured. Christine wore a Pronuptia dress while Pierre wore Vivienne Westwood. Their fun and quirky nature really does come though in all these images, especially the fun portrait session. I'm coming over all Français today, with not one but two real wedding features with a French flavour. The first, Candice & Dave's, took place in South Africa but had a distinctive Parisian infusion. Photographer Jacki Bruniquel explained, "They were on a tight budget and really made the best of what they had and made their wedding 'their own'. They had a Parisian theme running through the day as this is where they got engaged, but through in a bit of local flavour too. Friends pulled in to help and Candice made many of the details herself."

Photographer Britt said she wasn't 100% sure I'd think their wedding was Rock n Roll enough for a feature when she sent it over, however I had to disagree straight away. "Knowing that Kelly had never been out of the country (USA), I bought us 2 tickets to London for the end of September 2010 as a Christmas present," groom Nicholas explained. "Within a month we knew we were meant to be, so my plan became to propose to her in London or Paris. However, that soon changed when we decide that we should just elope to Europe and get married there by ourselves. So, I proposed a month later, we booked a photographer and a church in Paris and threw caution to the wind and made our Little European vacation a wedding and a honeymoon. And everything was perfect. And our minister's name was Charlie Brown, which is pretty Rock n Roll."

A few months ago photographer David McNeil and I were sat in a Creperie in London. He turned to be and said, "Let's do another photo shoot and let's make it the best yet... Let's go to Paris!" It's hard to believe how far we've come since that from that first whimsical conversation and really that we actually managed to pull it off - to hop over the channel and channel my inner Marie Antoinette! Well, if I do say so myself, we not only pulled it off but we SMASHED it! I am actually so blown away by the whole experience (and the results) that I kind of don't really know where to start..maybe the beginning would help?

Yes, that is how excited I am to share this. As most of you will know I headed over to gay Parieeee this week for the shoot to end all shoots, and BOY did it deliver. As you can probably see, the theme was punk rock Marie Antoinette and the props the stylist sourced were amazing. The dresses were super impressive (although I'll be honest, I was a little afraid of them - they were BIG!) I got papped by more tourists than I'd like to count and was asked to appear in a French music video! I am a total Paris convert and will demand that Gareth takes me there again tout de suite!

Bonjour mes petits amis! Tomorrow I am heading over the channel to Paris (!) to embark on the photo shoot to end all photo shoots! This bad boy is seriously going to blow the lid off everything I've done before. I am a mixture of excited, elated and seriously nervous but I literally can not wait to stand under The Eiffel Tower and meander down The Champs-Elysées dressed in my finery...oh and what finery it is. I'm not really allowed to tell you anything else about it, but I do believe we've got some of the most exciting and well known industry experts and designers on board! You are literally going to die when you see what we've got up to. Because of this mini-adventure, posting will be a bit light over the next few days (I do have a couple of awesome wedding scheduled to keep you going though) and I won't be replying to emails until I return.

Rebecca & Michael wanted a French/Hollywood vintage glam style shoot to signify their engagement. They loved the idea of having a whimsical, vintage feel and Rebecca’s inspiration was that she wanted a shoot that really meant a lot to them as a couple. The fascinator she wore belonged to her grandma when she was young for example. "We were able to create some old Hollywood romance in a local cafe" Australian photographer Tenielle told me. "It looksed as if it belonged in the French countryside. The Cafe we shot at was called ‘Cafe Bouquiniste’, and the owner Meredith has a love for Paris, Books and all things French as you can tell."
