Rock n Roll Bride promotes individuality and general awesomeness in a cookie cutter, pastel pink, poufy dressed wedding world. Don’t let the wedding industry define your day – let *you* define your day.
Rock n Roll Bride was launched in October 2007 as a simple wedding planning blog but was rebranded and re-launched in January 2009 as a ‘Mecca for gorgeous photography and inspiring real weddings’* Rock n Roll Bride is an ever growing brand with magazine features including Marie Claire Magazine, Cosmopolitan Bride, The British Journal of Photography, Easy Living, Tattoo Revolution, Perfect Wedding, Wedding Ideas, The Guardian and The Daily Express newspaper. Rock n Roll Bride was profiled in the book, ‘Working 5 – 9’ written by Emma Jones, founder of the home business website Enterprise Nation.
Creator Kat Williams also write monthly articles for Photo Pro Magazine, WEDDING Magazine & Vintage Life Magazine and was invited to speak at the Unveiled Photography Conference in July 2010 hosted by The British Journal of Photography. Rock n Roll Bride was included in the prestigious industry awards – BrideTide’s Top 100 blogs to watch in 2010 and came first in the Best Style Blog category of the 2010 The Bridal Blog Awards hosted by The Wedding Channel and The Knot.
Rock n Roll Bride was awarded ‘Best Wedding Blog’ by Cosmopolitan Magazine in their Blog Awards, which took place in October 2011.

Rock n Roll Bride attracts visitors from around the world who want a different perspective on wedding planning and who share a passion for individuality in a world dominated by tradition. I aim to inspire, intrigue and motivate my readers to plan their weddings the way they want and to plan a wedding that reflects them as a couple.
Are you what they’re looking for?
I have various advertising options available for all the very best Rock n Roll wedding vendors. Drop me an email for all the site info, rates and availability.
Please note:
I do not partake in affiliate schemes or link exhanges and will only help promote photographers and suppliers who I think are truly the perfect fit for my readers and my brand. I have a passion for independent and small businesses and will always choose these over large corporate companies to be represented on Rock n Roll Bride.
In other words, you can take your laser tattoo removal system or your generic, high street wedding favour business elsewhere. Thank you.

In the week following my feature on Rock n Roll Bride, my traffic to the website went mad! Altogether, I’ve had over 800 referrals, from Rock n Roll Bride, 75% of which were new visits.

I spent a whole year wasting my marketing budgets on local magazines and wedding fairs reaching out to brides who didn’t fit my ideal customer… and then I discovered Rock n Roll Bride. No other avenue has given me the quantity and, more importantly, quality of wedding enquiries. Rock n Roll Bride speaks to the bride looking for quality photography and who isn’t willing to settle for anything that is just “standard”. There isn’t any other British-based web media that is updated with such inspiring images so often that makes Rock n Roll Bride a daily must-read for all the brides I’ve had enquiries through the site from. This year I haven’t advertised anywhere else and around 40% of my total bookings came through Rock n Roll Bride. I’m pretty much booked up for next year thanks greatly to my sponsor and blog posts on Rock n Roll Bride – thank you so much!

GOSH, YOU ARE TOO AWESOME!
Out of all the blogs we have ever been featured on… we love the content in your posts the best, by far!!! We smiled all while reading it!
Rock n Roll Bride has been a wonderful source of exposure for us. With our very first feature, we BOOKED a wedding at the Chateau Elan in GA. We also have received so many compliments from brides and photographers all over the country from our appearance on Rock n Roll Bride! We hope there are many more features for us in the future on this fab site as we love to attract unconventional and artsy brides!

I own a Canadian photography studio and our work was featured on Rock n Roll Bride recently. Immediately after the feature, we noticed the traffic on our site going up. In fact, the increased exposure resulted in new inquiries and leads for our business and created positive conversation between our clients.

The Small Print
On 1stDecember 2009, the FTC put into motion new rules regarding bloggers how they disclose compensated interests. In English this means that bloggers in The United States must be transparent regarding their sponsors and advertisers, and that they must state if a blog post or anything referred to in their blog has been paid for or supplied by someone wanting exposure on their site. Now, being a British blogger these rules do not apply to Rock n Roll Bride, however it is a notion that I feel worth a mention here regardless. I completely adore and can personally vouch for every single advertiser on my site. I consider every sponsor to be a friend and they are in fact the lifeline of Rock n Roll Bride. Without them I would not be able to do this for a living, and to live and breathe Rock N Roll weddings 24/7. You should know a few key points about how I work tirelessly to bring you the best and most relevant advertisements and vendors, which enable me to simultaneously keep blogging the wedding prettiness that we all adore.
- The tiles under the ‘link love’ section are all paid sponsors. I personally approve every single one and have rejected numerous requests to advertise here from companies which I do not feel fit the ethos of Rock n Roll Bride.
- The ‘Under the Spotlight’ posts are all paid sponsored posts. I am fanatical about not only bringing you gorgeous real weddings, but with sharing the work and passions of other related vendors that I hope you will enjoy.
- All contests, giveaways and competitions are paid sponsorships. Again, I reserve the right to reject requests for contests and giveaways if I do not feel they will enhance the Rock n Roll Bride experience.
- On occasion, I do receive gifts from friends of Rock n Roll Bride. However by sending me things (usually pretty things to wear!) it by no means guarantees a mention on the site. If I do choose to mention an item sent as a gift I will always highlight this fact.
- Every single real wedding featured on Rock n Roll Bride is personally approved by me. I only blog weddings and photo shoots that excite me and that are relevant to the style Rock n Roll Bride promotes. They are not paid spots. If I post weddings photographed by any of my sponsors it is done so by my discretion. I will not post an irrelevant wedding just because it is photographed by a sponsor of the site.
Thank you and happy browsing!
And finally…
Any photographer or wedding vendor who becomes a Rock n Roll Bride Sponsor will be entitled to proudly wear a ‘Rockstar Vendor’ badge on their own website or blog! If you’d like a badge with a link back to Rock n Roll Bride and/or your post, please just drop me and email and I’ll shoot one right over.
