Allison & Gabe's wedding day started like every other - excitable, elegant, stylish and full of lurrrrve - then night fell and the chaos and fun of rock star proportions ensued! I love how the couple's attire matches their mood - beginning of the day - excited, demure and classy (I adore Allison's simple dress), end of the night - ruffled and rocking the hell out (and again I adore Allison's dress!) In fact it wasn't just the bride who changed - the whole wedding party got changed (the women into ruffles, the men into dinner suits) for the massive party at the end of the night! Photographer Inbal me all about the madness, Allison and Gabe had a ceremony on a boat in the east river, incorporated marriage rituals from basically every religion they could think of (and made up a few of their own), and later had their reception at the Princess Manor in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, who also catered. They had ice sculptures made in their likeness! Kenley from Project Runway crashed the wedding! The bride got so drunk she lost her shoes (I gave her mine and she still has them)! As you can see, they partied pretty hard and made their own rules. Thanks to Inbal for sharing and of course to Allison & Gabe for being too freakin' awesome for words!

I knew Amy & Jesse's wedding would be off-the-hook with it's intense awesomeness as soon as I saw and blogged their engagements a while back. Surely a couple this offbeat and rockin' couldn't have anything but a super crazy, kooky, inspirational and incredible wedding day could they? However, even I was blown off my chair when I laid eyes on these little beauties. Their DIY, carnival wedding was not only ridiculously creative and awe-inspiring but the couple themselves literally looked like a candy covered explosion of kick ass attitude and fun all over! (By the way I fully realise that my explanation of my thoughts on this wedding probably make little or no grammatical and linguistical sense - however my intense excitement over getting to blog these appears to have rendered by logical brain dysfunctional!) Got it? Right...on with the show... A HUGE Rock n Roll thank you to Marina of Red Heart Photography for sending these over. Carly & James were describes to me by their photographer Dani as'a couple of badasses who wed like rockstars' and after seeing these and their wedding (coming up next) I have to agree wholeheartedly. Their engagement shoot took place at a variety of their favourite spots all around Fresno. They set off at 9am withBloody Mary's in hand and visited thrift stores, favourite bars, some cornfields...to name a few! It must have been an exhausting day but the results are a fabulous array of eclectic style! Thanks to the wonderful Dani for sending these over...eeek their wedding is coming right up!

Jenna & Michael had a fabulously quirky, kiiky and personally rockin' wedding two weeks ago and the every lovely Love Me Do photography were there to capture the entire thing. The couple put a lot of work into the day with DIY projects a-plenty. "We wanted our wedding to be very classic looking, but still have a whimsical picnic, day dreamy kind of day feeling” the couple explained and they certainly acheived this goal with ideas such as the wishing tree - handmade bird silhouettes pinned into flocks and hung from the branches - which was used instead of a guestbook and the funky chocolate mouschases that certainly made for some great pictures and were provided by Pink, White, Brown. Jenna looked the perfect rock n roll bride in her Alvina Valenta dress and hairpeice from Liaison on Etsy. The bridesmaids dresses were the stunning Vivien Leigh dress by Siri in which they all looks quite the rockabilly princesses! Like these images? Well if you are about to book your wedding photographer then STOP. Hold on a few days and wait until I launch my next contest on Monday... I am terrible at keeping secrets it would seem but it may just be my best ever. Eeek...My lips are sealed. Green – The New Red?

I think this year green may be the new colour de jour for rock n roll brides. I have been sent a couple of gorgeous green girlies recently...do I see a new trend emerging? You will probably remember Amy from her stunning bridals that I shared recently. Well photographer Brandi was nice enough to send me the full wedding to report. I am crazy about the florals (I'll probably never tire of peacock feather bouquets!), the bridesmaid's and groomsmen's awesome purple combos which looks fab against Amy... and still of course, her shoes! This is going to sound more than a little bit weird but I almost don't want to blog these...because once I do it will be done and I will be sad that the anticipation, excitement and exhilaration (I'm a very dramatic person) I have been feeling leading up to posting these will be gone. Yes I am very strange... You might recognise Automne & Graham as one of the finalists in the Tinywater contest I ran a few months ago. As soon as I saw their entry I knew they were a completely awesome punk rock couple and that their wedding would be fab but OH. My. GOD nothing prepared me for this! I am so honoured and excited that the couple have chosen Rock n Roll Bride to be the lucky blog who gets to share their wedding and all the amazing details. Exclusives rock! I have featured the work of Marina from Red Heart Photography a number of times recently, every time she sends me something I am stopped in my tracks! Christina & Justin had a personal ceremony in Kona (it was just the two of them - you can't get more intimate that that!) and then followed it up with an amazing photo session with the lovely Marina. Oh..just wow. As soon as I laid eyes on Cameron & Mike I knew I had to feature them on Rock n Roll Bride. Can you blame me? Cameron looked just like a movie star and Mike looks so in love it can't help but make me smile! Mike, a tattoo artist in Florida even proposed to Cameron by tattooing 'Will You Marry Me?' on his chest? Freakin' awesome or what?! That's some serious commitment - he must have been pretty sure she would say yes

Erika & Chris tied the knot at Salt Lake's legendary Ruth's Diner which is now owned by Erika's parents. The diner had never hosted a wedding before but suited the couple's laid back, rock n roll style down to the ground. Dispite living in relatively conservative Utah, it would seem that nearly every tattooed kid in the State was in attendance - from tattoo artists to punk rockers! Thanks to the hugely talented Ryan for sharing this day with us.
