As a newly engaged 23-year-old I was quickly disillusioned with the wedding world that I was presented with and although Gareth and I didn't really know what we wanted for our wedding, we knew we didn't want any of what the wedding magazines were showing us. Spend £30k? Travel in a horse and carriage? Wear a big poofy strapless dress and designer shoes? NO THANK YOU.

Nothing says ‘spring wedding’ quite like a pastel colour scheme, but the idea doesn’t have to result in something syrupy, wishy-washy or overly traditional. Those delicate, girly hues can still be Rock n Roll - all it takes is an injection of fun! So throw on a buttery soft biker jacket, some chunky accessories and your favourite kicks, but most importantly always remember to rock a carefree ‘this is my wedding and I’m going to have a damn good time!’ attitude!

One of my favourite things is connecting with you guys on social media and something I hear over and over in our private Facebook group (where we're about to hit 13,000 members, whhhhaaaat!?) is that there's a huge lack of non-sucky, non-cheesy, non-eye-roll-inducing bridal t-shirts available. T-shirts that you can wear on your hen do, to wedding shows, getting ready the morning of the big day itself... or maybe even post-wedding to celebrate your new wifed status. So I did some research, and while occasionally a high street or online store will bring out a wedding tee, if it doesn't 100% blow (do NOT get me started on the whole 'shedding for the wedding' thing!) it will usually sell out faster than you can add it to your cart and checkout. So I knew what I had to do, I needed to design my own!

This issue we have the gorgeous Sharon as our cover babe. I'm not going to lie, as soon as her photographer Sophie Baker submitted the wedding I was secretly hoping there would be a shot in there that would work for the cover. I mean, what other wedding magazine on the planet would have a bride rocking pink space buns on the front!? She could not be a more perfect representation of a Rock n Roll bride and I can't wait to see her beautiful, smiling face on newsstands up and down to country!
