I'm filing this under 'engagement' because I'd love to think someone will be inspired by these for their own engagement shoot. So, technically this isn't a wedding-related photo shoot at all, but when Chris & Dani of Chris Barber Media headed up to Scotland last week, they ended up taking some pretty damn stunning images. and well, I just HAD to share them. The landscape is incredible, the water is awe-inspiring and the subjects are such fun (love the instax shots - swoon!)

I've discovered one of my new favourite photographers! So much in fact that I emailed him to ask for not one, not two, but THREE of his weddings to feature...so hold onto your hats because over the next few days you're gonna see some serious awesome. First up is Tony & Katie's laid back, funky backyard wedding. Although the pair live in New York they opted to hold their wedding in Kentucky where all their family are based. They knew they didn't want a traditional church wedding and luckily for them Katie's grandparents allowed their home to play host to the celebrations.

A little bit fashiony, a little bit boudoir - this Steampunk themed photo shoot sent me weak at the knees! Inspired by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock Holmes, New Orleans and Dita Von Teese, photographer Kamila couldn't wait to put together a shoot like this.

"When styling this photo shoot, we wanted to create a romantic vintage atmosphere with a twist. Something vibrant, elegant, and out-of-the-box. Having been to the Moulin Rouge cabaret in Paris, we tied in details and rich colors reminiscent of our visit. The rich reds, deep purple irises, and black accents were intended on creating perhaps a non-traditional wedding palette. Tucking black feathers into deep, velvety red roses and contrasting purple irises, our floral pieces emitted a tone of a classic wedding romance while being a bit off-beat. Sheet music was rolled into scrolls and synced with crystal drops for a little touch of whimsy. Gorgeous hand-painted place cards accented our ruby French brocade linen and black satin napkins gave a punch of interest. All of these elements came together seamlessly to create a wedding celebration that is timeless, a bit sexy, and just radiating romance."

I have to be honest, I've been gagging to share Aubrey & Marshall's wedding ever since photographer's Stacie & Geoffrey (you may remember them from their own - way too damn cool wedding) sent me a sneak peek...not only because of how rad this wedding actually is, but because I have secretly been harboring a photographic crush on Lang Photographers (I'm probably their biggest Twitter stalker!) Aubrey & Marshall diy-ed their whole wedding with very little budget - they just let their creativity run wild! Everything from the origami to the curtain, from the invitation to the pinwheels was constructed and created by the pair and I am dying over here! Oh tell me your love it as much as I do...

This fabulous Boudoir/Pin up style shoot was set up by British photographer Shaneen Rosewarne Cox. "My Make up artist is fabulous at creating that seductive, lashtastic pin up look" She told me "She also styled the models hair and I loved how the retro bouncy curls turned out. Accessories are all mine and are mostly props from the studio. The STUNNING blue Manolo Blahnik shoes are actually my "something blue" from my own wedding day. All in all it was a really fun day full of bucks fizz, pearls, blue shoes and vogue magazine!! A perfect way to spend a Sunday in my opinion. "

Julie & John got married in September 2008 at Luss Pier in Loch Lomond, Scotland. Although originally from Manchester, they chose this location as it was perfect for their ideal wedding - small and intimate - with only about 30 of their closest friends and family. They hired a boat from Sweeney's Cruises where they had their ceremony and drinks. Afterward they walked along the beach to the Lodge on Loch Lomond where they had their meal and the rest of their evening.

I have been dying to feature a photo shoot by Flory Photo in ages, and I think Curtis & Vali's shoot has given me the perfect opportunity. Photographer and friend Joel Flory actually shot their wedding back in 2002 - his first - and being such great friends with this pair, this shoot was extra special to them all. Is anyone else as crazy about those geek-chic glasses as I am!? So. Much. Fun! His suit was Express for Men and her dress was an 8yr old Jessica McClintock that she wore on their wedding day.

Those of you, like me, who were loitering around blogland this time last year will certainly remember the immensely popular 'NotWedding' event that was held in Atlanta. The photographs of the even circulated pretty much every blog - and with due cause. They were awesome (you can see my coverage from the 2009 event here.) The NotWedding is a unique bridal event in which a handful of Atlanta’s most talented and brilliant vendors come together to stage a one-of-a-kind wedding. Complete with an unforgettable ceremony, an over the top first dance, a cake cutting, and reception, The NotWedding has become a killer production that promotes an atmosphere which inspired brides towards creative options rather than cookie-cutter weddings. From classic to sassy, this year’s event hosted four different wedding themes for brides to visit: Enchanted Forest, Southern Glam, Vintage Chic, and Global Fusion.

When photographer's Kel & Mar turned up at Richard & Josephine's hotel room they were brimming over with ideas and excitement for their engagement shoot. However, after seeing the chaos of the room all the ideas were scrapped in favour of a much more 'real' photo shoot location. Finally, a shoot that makes me proud to not have a perfect, immaculate 'magazine-worth' house myself!

Anyone that knows me will know that I'm terrible at keeping secrets...so this has been very very hard for me to keep schtum! Last week I got an email from Richard of FX Films (based in Oxford) asking if he could pop round and make a little film about little me. Of course I jumped at the chance. I am a big show off after all! Stand by and prepare yourself for some serious awesome. Richard is an actual genius - he made me look so good and the music choice is utterly perfect! The only thing I stipulated was that Henry & Rachel my Maine Coon kitties were in it (and they stole the show didn't they!) Oh the cute... So here's me on a 'normal day' - getting up, kittens, make up, blogging, shoes, car (I love my car!) and hanging out in the park. So. Much. Fun. I can not rave enough how much fun this day was and how easy he was to work with.

Sandra & Colin's engagement sessions makes me smile! You might recognise Sandra, as she was one of my Top 10 entries for my contest of LOVE (she's the gal with the 'Rock n Roll' moustache - don't ya just love it?!) so I was over the moon to receive this photo session in my inbox from their photographer Jes. Adorable, goofy, ballsy, fun...you gotta love these two!
