Pink Power: A Pink on Pink on Pink Editorial for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine
November 13, 2019
I’ve wanted to do an all-pink bridal shoot for a long time, Like, my team and I were probably discussing it for a year or so before we actually managed to do it! Turns out you guys agreed that it was a great idea – the cover for this issue was one of the most commented, shared and liked of the year and
this issue is now completely sold out! WOW.
I love using colour as the basis for our shoots and this one is one of my all time favourites. I’m obviously a pink kinda gal, and if you too fancy rocking your signature colour down the aisle instead of traditional white, I hope these images will inspire you,
As always, now the issue is off-sale, I wanted to share some more shots that didn’t quite make the print spread because there’s always so many great photos that it’d be a travesty to keep them to ourselves! Enjoy!

Making History: Rock n Roll Bride at the Natural History Museum

OK hear me out, while 2020 sucked in many, MANY ways, also, it was kind of amazing. We got to spend time at home, we started to appreciate the small things, we realised just how lucky we are to have the NHS and we got to revaluate what is really important to us, too. While having to postpone your wedding was obviously a massive suckfest, it did give you more excuses to buy more issues of Rock n Roll Bride magazine soooooo who can really be mad about that!?
Neon Dreams for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine
February 7, 2020
One of the most creative and enjoyable shoots we've ever produced, one of my favourite models we've worked with and at one of my favourite locations. Seriously, our editorial and cover image for issue 29 was a DREAM to put together. I really do have the BEST team in the world.
The Black Parade: A Gothic Shoot for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine
January 21, 2022
Issue 41, the gothic issue, featured one of my all time favourite shoots (do I always say this? Yes, probably!) We wanted to elevate the idea of a gothic bride and to create a shoot with a high end, high fashion feel, yet something still super attainable for anyone wanting to embrace the dark side.
Queen for a Day Editorial for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine
June 17, 2020
Originally published in issue 30 of Rock n Roll Bride magazine (Jan/Feb 2020), our 'Queen for a Day' editorial was all about celebrating how fierce you are going to be as you sashay down the aisle. We wanted to use giant crowns, gold and some really unique florals. As soon as we found the stunning Fitzrovia Chapel, a bedazzled little jewel of a place hidden away in the streets not far from Oxford Circus, we knew it was the ideal location. Oh, and in case you were in any doubt, a big fuck off crown is always a good idea!
Heartbreak Hotel: An Elvis & Priscilla Editorial for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine
December 27, 2016
One of the most fun and creative parts of my job is the editorial fashion shoots that I create with my INCREDIBLY TALENTED photo shoot team. For issue 10 (Sept/Oct 2016) we wanted to channel one of the original Rock n Roll couple: Elvis and Priscilla Presley. We used just one model, Tarla, who was actually the perfect Elvis and Priscilla, and we shot at Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton.

Babe with the Power: A Labyrinth Meets Renaissance Inspired Shoot for Rock n Roll Bride Magazine

If you grew up in the 80s and early 90s you probably have fond memories of movies like The NeverEnding Story and Labyrinth. The Jim Henson fantasy film starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly was a particular favourite of ours, and the bubble scene and Sarah’s ball gown made for perfect inspiration for issue 40's editorial shoot.
This shoot first appeared in the Sept/Oct 2019 issue of of Rock n Roll Bride magazine. You can
grab a copy of our current issue over on the shop, or pick one up on the high street.
