You're going to adore this homage to the spirit of rock n' roll mixed with Valentine's Day motifs. Held at Zephyr Lodge in Liberty Lake, WA, Kendra and Adam wanted a colourful, retro inspired wedding which they discovered was actually pretty unique for their area. In the Pacific Northwest the wedding default seems to be moody, muted and rustic, but they wanted the opposite! It made it pretty difficult to build the bright colourful wedding of their dreams at times, but luckily (with a bit of help from Rock n Roll Bride!) they were finally able to find some like-minded vendors who were thrilled to be a part of their day.

Mandi and Joeby fought tooth and nail to make their 2020 wedding happen. “We were determined to stick to our date no matter what,” Mandi told us. “We decided quite early on that even if it just meant us and a witness, we would just get it done - I’d proposed to Joey in 2018 and for us it was important to just be married, not about a big party or putting our lives on hold - and this sentiment felt particularly important to stick to before the world went to complete shit!”

Living and working in London but both originally from up north, Fiona and Jack, who met when they both auditioned for the same band at uni (the band is still going and they have been making and releasing music together for their entire relationship!) planned a retro inspired wedding in Whitby. It's a place they have spent a lot of time in with family over the years so it was a very sentimental place for them to tie the knot. The autumn day started with a ceremony at Whitby registry office before a walk down to the seafront to play on to 2p arcade games and have their photos taken. The reception was then held at a recently reopened old church centre which they decorated and made their own.

Arlene and Lee love the fifties aesthetic, rockabilly and hot rods. So, when it came to setting a theme for their summer wedding, there was no question what it would be! They chose Tomlinson's Farm Shop and Camping field for both the ceremony and and reception. Although they were the first wedding that had ever been held there, they knew it was perfect for their vision as soon as they visited. They loved the views and the owners were so accommodating - they even supplied the haybales.

Amy and Darren used traditional weddings they’d been to together to influence what they didn’t want from their own big day! Instead, they wanted their wedding to be fun and to feel like one big party. As they’re both big music lovers, they focused on their shared interest and the bands they’d seen together to theme the decor. Throw in wedding outfits that reflected their personalities, instead of things they ‘should’ wear, and you’ve got yourself a very Rock n Roll Bride worthy wedding where the couple ignored tradition where it didn’t suit them, and ran with ideas that made it personal to them!
