I bet those are things you never thought you'd see in a wedding feature together... but here at Rock n Roll Bride we embrace the unique and somewhat oddball wedding themes wholeheartedly! All these things - rockabilly, feminism, the bride's Jewish faith and, of course, llamas (!) mean a lot to Lara and Shaun so of course they had to bring them all into their big dayRead more...

Sophie and Stewart's November wedding proves, wholeheartedly, that you don't need to stick to traditions, drop the equivalent of a house deposit or starve your way into a too small dress to have a beautiful wedding. Married at Basingstoke Register Office with a reception at The Crown and Cushion in Minley afterwards, they had a budget of £11,000 and achieved absolutely everything they wanted.Read more...

Unless you’re some kind of cave person, you’ll know all about the wondrous joy that is Etsy. Not only is it the perfect website to get one-of-a-kind, handmade or vintage pieces for your wedding, there’s is quite franky an offensive number of things I’d like to own from there for our home.Read more...

Jessica and JR had a two-day wedding. Their legal courthouse ceremony was held on Halloween with their big reception party a couple of days later at Passalino’s, an events space in Downtown Louisville. They wanted their wedding to be like no other Halloween weddings, to them that meant keeping things minimal, elegant and modern - no themed props, pumpkins or skull decorations here!Read more...

Although Gina and Mark's autumn wedding included some seasonal details - skulls, pumpkins etc - most of all they wanted their day to reflect them. They included their love of Mexico (and Mexican food!) and DIYed a-plenty to make their day feel their ownRead more...

I can't breathe. This may just be one of my favourite weddings we've EVER FEATURED. Yes, in all my 13 years of writing about weddings I'm not sure a wedding has stolen my heart quite like this one.Read more...

Ashlie and Steph wanted a stress and fuss-free pub wedding with minimal details and things to worry about! Although they made the table numbers, photo booth and favours themselves they also didn't stress over them. The most important thing was that they had a day that felt like them and that they were married by the end of it!Read more...

Halloween is right around the corner (erm who's excited!?) and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share this super easy yet super effective glitter moon make up idea. If you're more of a low key kinda gal, and the idea of a full face of themed Halloween make up isn't your jam, then you're going to love this!Read more...

It's that perfect time of year where the temperatures have dropped slightly but it's not yet baltic outside, the colours of the trees are at their most beautiful and Pumpkin Spiced Lattes are a thing again (OK spoiler alert I actually think they're gross but many people don't agree with me!) But MOST OF ALL, I love the weddings that happen in Autumn. Especially when they're low key and full of all the feels.Read more...

Amber and Daniel had a September wedding inspired by the New Moon. "We had a New Moon wedding", Amber said. "Originally we couldn’t nail down a date. I am really into the New Moon and the beginnings it brings and I kept being drawn to 9/9/2018, which happened to be the New Moon into Virgo (Dan's astrological sign). Once we chose it, Dan's parents told us that was his grandmother and grandfather's wedding date! It was meant to be!"Read more...
