Heather send me an email today telling me all about her and her fiance, Lucas’ plans for their rock n roll, vintage pinup, burlesque stylee wedding and I am so excited, I can’t wait to see the results! The wedding is taking place on the 28th March but I have told her I want the photographs as soon as she has them as I know you will all love them!
To whet my appetite, she had send me some of their engagement shots, taken in the first car Hugh Hefner ever gave to one of his playmates (erm awesome!) The Groom-to-be’s Dad purchased the car an at auction. Also check out the couple’s wicked invitations – they are miniature version of an old record and album cover. The CD (disguised as vinyl) has been placed in a paper jacket that looks like an album sleeve. The CD is also loaded with Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Detroit Cobras, Rev. Horton Heat and Surf music. Tp save money, the graphic designing couple designed and made them themselves. I really can’t wait can you?

Tina & Derek's engagements in a burnt out house are so. damn. cool! I am loving the fireplace, the awesome chair and the feather. These have such an intense beauty to them...much love! Photographer Jen Arthur also shot some post wedding portraits as the couple eloped so didn't have pro wedding photographs, which I can't wait to see too.

Confession time: I've never seen Game of Thrones. I know, I know, my geek credentials should be thrown out of the window and I should hang my head in shame... But needless to say I know a good thing when I see it, and Karlee & Justin's engagement shoot certainly fits that bill.
Vancouver Island in British Columbia was the perfect spot for this DIY shoot - oh yes, I said DIY - the pair made their outfits themselves from scratch!

I've got a double dose of the gorgeous Elodie & Alexis today, starting with their incredible engagement shoot. Shot by film-loving photographer Ashton Jean-Pierre, this stylish couple flew him from London to Normandy, France to shoot their engagement and wedding.
Ashton is deaf as are both Elodie & Alexis. They found Ashton at World Deaf Art Festival in Reims, near Paris, last Summer. Elodie also happens to be a Rock n Roll Bride fan, hurrah! As soon as they met, they knew Ashton was the perfect wedding photographer for them. After 10 months of communicating via email it was finally time to shoot!
