If the thought of being the centre of attention on your wedding day fills you with nervous dread, then let me open up a world of new possibilities for you. Cat and Paul did things to suit them - completely. Not being a girly, girl or ever wearing dresses, two weeks before the wedding the bride decided to go with what made her feel comfortable. That meant wearing jeans, and not doing a 'grand entrance'. She didn't walk down the aisle at all, in fact there was no aisle. She and Paul greeted their guests together as they arrived.

Rachel and Raymon based their wedding on Rachel's favourite childhood book and film - Alice in Wonderland! They had oodles of personalised and special details including the mismatched chairs, the vintage door seating chart, having clocks as table numbers and their chequered dance floor.

David and David met online in 2006. They chatted for a few days and then had their first date at a local tapas restaurant. They both studied at the University of Manchester, so they chose the Museum at the university for their wedding venue. It is an amazing Victorian gothic building, and whilst they didn't really want a 'theme' per-say, there was definitely a scientific and national history thread running throughout the celebration.

Ange and Glen's wedding day started with an intimate ceremony with just 25 guests at Cardiff City Hall. They then moved on to The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for a Wales vs Argentina rugby match! The day concluded with a massive party blow out in a marquee in the back garden of the pub where they had their first date.

Their theme was a vintage street party and having the day in two places meant the bridal party got a ride in a stretch Chevy limo midway through, complete with retro jukebox pumping out some old school tunes!

Bryan and Brittany live in New York but were married in Oklahoma where most of their friends and family still live. They'd planned a very different wedding originally, wanting an all outdoor affair, but, just five weeks before the big day they realised it just wasn't going to work and they had to find another venue. Panic stations! Luckily, they came across The Womb art gallery, owned by Wayne Coyne, lead singer of The Flaming Lips. They asked him if he'd consider letting them have their wedding there, which he not only agreed to but he came along and partied with them too! Now that, my friends, is pure Rock n Roll.

They wanted a low key and budget-friendly wedding and so were married at Brighton registry office. It was just the two of them, two witnesses and their photographer Sassy of Assassynation in attendance. After the ceremony, they all went to JB’s American Diner for burgers and milkshakes.

They had their ceremony on the deck at 12.30, they set sail at 1 'o clock and everyone de-boarded at 5.30.

I have something really beautiful and unusual for you today, I just know you're going to love it! Kristin and Ky were hitched at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Florida. Their outdoor wedding was made as colourful as possible with the addition of paint... lots of paint! The bride wore a full face of geisha-style face paint, her dress was splattered with it (which she did herself), they painted each other as part of the ceremony and they had an artist on hand to do their guests too!

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The word 'formal' never entered our vocabulary."

The wedding of Margot and Jared was held at Artwork Network, an art gallery in Denver. The ceremony was officiated by the groom's younger brother, Kyle. But this wasn't the only thing that made their wedding special, unique and personalised. "I think from the minute we started actually thinking about what the wedding would be like, we both just wanted it to be fun", explained Margot. "A party for all of our closest friends and family. As unstuffy as possible. From there the details just fell into place. Food trucks were wayyy cheaper than traditional caterers, we both love pie, we both love whiskey, and we love throwing parties."

They're both from Germany and so wanted to get married there, but they live in Australia now so they planned the whole thing from the other side of the world.

It was just Ulysses, Cyntia and their two gorgeous children, Pheonix and Galaxy in attendance. Their officiant, Colette Cucchia, was there to marry them overlooking the water and their wedding photographer captured the whole thing beautifully.

Cathie and Claire were hitched at Glenmore House. Their wedding was bright and full of fun! The pair both rocked amazing outfits, Claire in a red Candy Anthony dress and headpiece and Cathie in a corset from Fairy Gothmother and trousers by Vivienne Westwood. At their reception they had a popcorn cart, bunting, vintage suitcase for cards and vintage vases and jam jars for the flowers with tea lights.

Bex and Scott had a two day wedding, on 16th and 17th September 2013. They wanted a long celebration so they could get married twice! The first day was the legal ceremony followed by a low-key after party. On day two they went all out with a handfasting ceremony, a tractor ride for the guests and a facepainter!
