1920’s Glam

I’m pretty sure you’re going to go crazy over these. Austin & Megan’s 1920’s themed wedding is right up m street. I love it all – the flowers, the dresses, the hairpieces, the venue, the cake, the Groom’s awesome beard and the coolest Bridesmaids I’ve seen in ages…in fact I am more than a little bit jealous!

Thanks so much Karen!

On Edge

The Fuller Edge guys get the best clients! When I discovered them a few months a go I knew I would be featuring their stuff over and over…

Danielle & Robbie’s vintage Hollywood wedding not only took place in an old theatre, but the guests were given popcorn to eat during the ceremony ha!

The Strangest Damned Gang…

This gorgeous shoot reminds me of a gangster movie..I don’t know why really, but I could totally imagine this couple as Bonnie & Clyde, does that make me weird? I think it’s the hat, the expressions, the glitz, the glamour…all good stuff, not because I could see them robbing a bank!

The strangest damned gang you ever heard of. They’re young. They’re in love. They rob banks

Photo Noir

Non-wedding, wedding inspiration can be just as inspiring as the bog standard stuff. For example, the ideas behind this fabulous ‘film noir’ style photo shoot by Emily Porter, could easily be transferred to an absolutely amazing engagement shoot, or even a wedding theme.
Keep the non-wedding submissions coming (no maternity shoots though please, I still can’t being myself to start posting baby-related stuff sorry hehe!)

Button Up

Tracey & Paul had an amazingly colourful wedding last week and I am so excited that the photographer, Otto Schulze, has sent them to me to share with you all. I just love all the button bouquets out there at the moment – so cute and they last forever too…bonus! These ones were made by Etsy seller Really Bad Kitty.
The colourful details in this wedding make me smile and the button theme has been continued throughout – how many can you spot!? The wedding was expertly planned and by Table 6 Productions and Delilah’s Flowers of Denver did all the amazing real flowers!

Thanks Otto!

The Starry Night

The theme of Andy & Marie’s wedding was Van Gogh’s painting, ‘The Starry Night’. A blue scheme ran throughout, accented by the star cake (which I love by the way!) and the Bridesmaids in fabulous sparkly (or should that be starry) dresses. The overall affect is dramatic yet so sweet and personal at the same time.
