Katrine and Joseph’s wedding theme all started with a song. When they were picking a date, the line Do you remember the 21st night of September? from Earth, Wind & Fire’s iconic hit felt like a perfect fit. “It’s one of our favourite songs,” Katrine said. “We thought it’d be cool to actually get married on that day.” As if the stars aligned, the 21st of September the year after their engagement fell on a Saturday. It also happened to be Joseph’s parents’ wedding anniversary.

Kira and Stephen opted for a boozy brunch reception, complete with dancing, followed by an after party in a hotel lobby. This couple were the epitome of laid back with their plans, choosing things which made the day enjoyable for everyone rather than sticking to tradition. There was no cake (who needs one when you've got so many delicious pastries!?) and the bridesmaid wore whatever they wanted. The groom and his groomsmen opted to match in bright blue suits.

Boat-Access, Micro Wedding with Cliff Diving & a Homemade Red Dress

Emily and Jan's boat-access, micro wedding was pure magic. Jan wore a vintage suit while Emily was in a hand-dyed, hand-made red wedding gown. Only their closet family and shaggy dog made the Covid-cut guest list for the day which took place on Slocan Lake in British Columbia. They were wed under a lovingly homemade driftwood arch on a private cliff, which could only be accessed by boat. After the ceremony they ate charcuterie and cliff jumped - perfection!
