Now this, my friends, is what being a Rock n Roll bride is all about. It's not about flowers, or favours or a fancy wedding venue. It's not about what you wear, who your bridesmaids are or what theme you have. Being a Rock n Roll bride is about doing your own thing, marching to your own beat, and saying "I do" in a way that feels right for the two of you. That's exactly what Rob and Edie did which is why I'm so excited to share their wedding with you today.Read more...

I have so much love for Gretchen & Darby's cute, retro, geek chic engagement sesh. Not only did the chalkboard/hearts location slay me, but their fashion choices are just so perfect...and they match each other in an oh-so-cute and not at all puke-worthy way. The super bright checked set, the crazy 70's jumpers set and the lilac-y matching dress and tie set. Oh so adorable! I love love love them.Read more...

On a cold November Sunday morning a recent bride and her photographer headed down to a skate park for a bridal shoot complete with skateboarders, boys on bikes and a big dog (eek!) She wore her wedding dress which was by Donatella and two different pairs of shoes (no, not at the same time) which were both from Next. I am particularly loving the bright blue pair which were from their Runway Collection.Read more...

This scarlet-themed, soft, cool, old school/new school vintage session was sent over today by Jessika of December Photography. "I've been seeking clients who want something different " she told me. "I love experimenting and new ideas to channel my creativity. This engagement session had an old school/new school vintage theme. Outfits were organized only by colors. My vision was 'vogue meets nylon, and bring the chair'. I wanted some things to be out of place and clash, yet tie together beautifully in the end. While editing them, I kept with the vintage theme, de-saturated, vignettes, and warm/cool tones. The couple was very fun and up for anything, they made the pictures what they are!"Read more...
