70’s Chic & Matchy Matchy Cuteness
June 24, 2010
I have so much love for Gretchen & Darby’s cute, retro, geek chic engagement sesh. Not only did the chalkboard/hearts location
slay me, but their fashion choices are just so perfect…and they match each other in an oh-so-cute and not at all puke-worthy way. The super bright checked set, the crazy 70’s jumpers set and the lilac-y matching dress and tie set. Oh so adorable! I love love love them.
Thanks to Ben for sharing these today. I think their wedding is going to be amazing!!

Vintage, Geek Chic, Retro & Folk – With Extra Sprinkles Please…

When David & Ruth started to think about the kind of theme they'd like for their engagement session and up coming wedding they realised that they wanted to do something that celebrated their life together and their upcoming marriage. "We soon realised that like our life together and we pretty much wanted it all to reflect us - vintage, geekchic, retro, scifi, lowfi, folk, rock, disco, soul, town and country - with extra sprinkles please."
Retro Record Store Engagement
January 6, 2010
Sarah & Jeremy's cute engagement session made me swoon with it's classic, retro (slightly) geeky and quirky nature. The record store location provided the perfect backdrop for the pair who love music and all things funky and cool.

A cute couple, both us glasses and fabulous fashion with that enviable vintage-cool vibe (the green dress was Amanda's grandmother's) rocking it with records and just generally hanging out...I just ...yeah, you know I love it.
Amanda & David hopped around different locations throughout the East Side of Milwaukee for their engagement shoot. All of the places they visited had significance to their first date, the first stop being a record store. On their first date, David bought a record "for himself," which a few months later he gave to Amanda as a gift. She holds it in one of the photos. They also stopped at Comet Cafe, which was where they had lunch together for the first time. They even brought their own favourite coffee cups for the shoot.

Game of Thrones Engagement Shoot: Karlee & Justin
February 17, 2013
Confession time: I've never seen Game of Thrones. I know, I know, my geek credentials should be thrown out of the window and I should hang my head in shame... But needless to say I know a good thing when I see it, and Karlee & Justin's engagement shoot certainly fits that bill.
Vancouver Island in British Columbia was the perfect spot for this DIY shoot - oh yes, I said DIY - the pair made their outfits themselves from scratch!
Soulmates & Magic
May 6, 2010
Chihye & Tom's LA engagement speaks volumes of their love. From the simple moments between these two to the beautiful field full of ruby red heart balloons - what's not to love about these?
It would appear that photographer Chrissy agrees with me "I don’t know if I have the words to accompany these photos. They truly speak for themselves. A couple so deeply and genuinely in love mixed with God’s beauty creates the most gorgeous moments. Chihye and Tom are another one of my kindful couples, our first meeting lasted hours over Sangria and Cuban food. The longer I do my job the more I believe in soulmates and magic." (and I swear to God I wrote by 'bit' before I even read hers! It must be love...)

I'm pretty sure the photographs speak for themselves with this one...wow wow wow! I am over the moon to have shared a number of amazing weddings photographed by Vanessa of Wildberry Design & Studio (Blue Dress Bride and Rainbow Wedding) and believe me that is just the beginning - stay tuned for this couple's tattoo inspired wedding next week!

The awesome Marianne Taylor (who shot my pinky, punky princess shoot) just sent me a selection of her most recent engagement sessions and Sam & Adam's jumped out at me right away. Not only have I got a unhealthy obsession with toy cameras right now (they used a Diana camera as a prop) but the couple are just to damn right funky for words.
I am loving Mr. Whippy ice cream, the light up heart shaped display, the neon back lights and of course the fact that these images are quintessential London baby!
Thanks to the ever gorgeous Marianne for sending these over.

Pink Hearts & Jack Russell Dogs
December 8, 2009
Angela & Anthony are a wonderful couple - not only did Angela send me the cutest email a while back (I featured it on my blog love page!) but she's just sent me their adorable engagement session to check out and I couldn't resist featuring it. It was that pink hearts and Jack Russell's that's did it for me!
You're gonna love these!
