I am on a blogging roll this morning hey? Can't stop now though, I've got Keith & Rachel's amazing engagements to show you. The couple (who I swear to God should be models) will actually be getting married at the exact location of this shoot. Keith is a tattoo artist and did the awesome sleeve on Rachel's arm. I was shocked to hear that Corin's photography had never been blogged before - it is stunning! I am super excited to be the first wedding blog to share her work with the world. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of her.Read more...

Funfair? Check... Balloons? Check...Adorable couple? Check...That gorgeous streaming Californian light? Check! It seems I will never tire of this scenario for an engagement shoot - it really shows the a fun side to any couple that just can't help but make me smile - especially that 'slide' shot - how much fun does that look?! Oh how I love it so... Thanks to the gooorrrrgeous Sarah for sharing with me! Credit: Sarah K Chen PhotographyRead more...

Ooooooooooooooh! Do I get to feature the best stuff or what?! Victoria & David had a beautiful and fun engagement shoot on a shopping mall rooftop. They wanted an urban feeling shoot and photographers Fiona & Bec chose the rooftop car park for the location. Thanks to Fiona & Bec for fuelling my balloon obsession with these! Kelty of Steep Street is slowly becoming one of my new favourite photographers. With every photo shoot I fall just a little bit more in love with her laid back, retro vibe. Nadia & Bram's engagements are of course no exception. I have so much love... Kelty...love you girl! Credit: Steep StreetRead more...

Cyrus & Kiss (I kid you not - cutest names ever!) had a 'the world is our living room' themed engagement shoot. Along with their photographers, they lugged a sofa (actually from the photographer's house!) into the back of a truck and drove to their location. When they got there they only wished they had also brought the TV and maybe a lamp or two to complete the set! Thanks to Paul for sending these to me. Love the album cover feel these have... It may be a virtue, but patience certainly isn't something I have. Especially when it comes to sharing images like these ones. I was going to wait a little while to blog these, but it turns out I literally have no self control and I couldn't hold off any longer. I'm pretty sure you'll understand why... Eeek so gorgeous! As much as we hate to admit it, summer is coming to an end. When we hit September and the kids go back to school that's pretty much it right? Hell I had to write an article for a magazine (hehe shameless self promotion to follow soon!) about winter weddings last week for crying out loud! However with the nights drawing in, we can't deny that the light gets that little bit more beautiful and the evenings become that little bit more comfortable - so comfortable in fact that Rachel & Nate felt the need for a pillow fight! You gotta love these...Read more...

It's such an honour to be the first blog to share this amazingly themed engagement session by Joy Marie! Karnis & Alex really wanted to break the pre-wedding shoot mould and so came up with the awesome creative concept of dressing up like some of their favourite iconic images and heroes. Who can you spot? Thanks to Joy for sharing these with us! Credit: Joy Marie PhotographyRead more...

"More More More!" I hear you cry...Well who am I to stand in the way of gorgeousness? Kelty of Steep Street (who I have a total girl crush on by the way) send these to me and Eeeek! aren't they stunning? Kendra & Chris were up for anything for their engagemnt shoot and so Kelty took them on a magical mystical tour - from a spooky tree in Golden Gate Park to an adorable picnic location and a stunning wide open spaces style shoot. Thanks, as always, to the gorgeous Kelty for sharing her amazing work! Credit: Steep Street PhotographyRead more...

So I received a link to this amazing lifestyle style engagement session last week and I have been waiting with baited breath all week to share them with you! I love the concept. It's like a day in the life of...series. It really reminds me of that Brangelina W Magazine shoot. It's got a great 1950's vibe to it all. Either way it's flipping gorgeous and Sabina & Andres make for fantastic models. Thanks to Molly & Matt for sharing this awesome set with us! Credit: Mathieu PhotographyRead more...

I really need to be lying down with some honey and lemon and watching trash on tv as I'm sick...grr I don't do well when I get ill - boredom is not my Forté. I just had to drop by and share a few little images from this Russian engagement session entitled 'Sunset Love Story.' Totally beautiful huh? It's hard to choose, but I think the 'red heart lollypop' one has got to be my favourite. Too gorgeous! The photographer, Mukhina Ekaterina, will actually be touring the states in October/November of this year and would love to meet and photograph some rock n roll couples. Drop her an email if you're game! Until tomorrow, when I hope to be feeling less vile and able to share all the amazing weddings I've been sent over the weekend (I swear...they are all amazing!) With a pair as passionate about music as these guys, coupled with the fact that they met at a park, what better place to have their engagement shoot than at a picnic and to have it featured on Rock n Roll Bride!? I am well aware that every single couple I feature is adorable, but Emma & Paul?...there really is no other way to describe them! I don't think anybody could dispute that Heather & Grayson Jagger are ones to watch. Their outdoor portraits are simply phenomenal! Do you remember Maurice & Tasha's amazing balloon filled (oh yes!) desert day after session? Well I couldn't say for sure, but I'm included to suggest that Cooper & Michelle's engagements are even better! Thoughts...? Thanks to the lovely Heather for sending these images! Good morning blog-land...how are we all? I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you for the amazing response to the first 'How To Blog' article and I will definitely be writing some more in the future. I have received some brilliant questions relating to the idea of Originality and Connections which I will certainly share with you all soon. Right, back to the gorgeousness and an adorable engagement session from Australian photographer Tim Harris.
