The second UK wedding of the day is Clare & Dean's classically beautiful rustic, vintagey romantic wedding. They employed the talents of my good friend Penny Merricks of Tigerlily Weddings to plan their day to perfection. Didn't she do a fabulous job? "I made all the invites that featured vintage lovebird stamps and 'to have and to hold' ribbon from Cox & Cox" Clare told me. "Also I handmade the luggage tags for place cards with same vintage bird stamps and ribbon. I asked friends and family to collect glass jam jars for months, and we covered them with lace and ribbon for tea-light holders. A designer friend of ours also made the booklet that contained the history of the barn, order of ceremony, pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding days, the menu and the last page contained a quiz about us both... also using the same vintage love bird stamps." Even though the couple wed in the UK, the bride bought her dress at David's Bridal in Dallas (hello exchange rate!) Her shrug was from Cornelia James and her shoes were Peto by Rainbow Couture. Clare's vintage style matching pearl and diamante necklace, bracelet and earrings by Dulcie Angel and her diamante hair clip instead of a tiara fwas rom Glitzy Secrets. Geeky, Gorgeous Wedding

And I mean geeky in the BEST way possible! I am a huge geek fan (and I even married one myself) Emma & Daniel had their very own geek fest wedding incorporating everything they love - gadgets, games, Japanese culture...and CAKE (seriously this sounds like my husbands dream wedding!) Emma looked beeeautiful in her Benjamin Roberts dress and Rocket Dog shoes, espeically when she walked down the aisle to the Edward Scisossorhands theme and out to Star Wars! They also had a wonderful super 8 film made which I can not wait to see (and blog) very soon! Thanks to Emma & Daniel for being so geeky and gorgeous!

Burle & Martin had a creole glamorama wedding at The Metro Hotel. Their vintage New Orleans theme was culminated with a plethora of fishnets, feathers, masks, beads and Fluevog shoes. One of my favourite details has got to be the cupcake bouquet by Cookies by Kin...hello - how awesome!!? Burle's dress was by Venus Bridal and her veil was found at Etsy. She chose to get ready at a fabulous Du Jour Boutique , an eclectic store where she regularly buys funky clothes, accessories and hats - and the zebra wallpaper definitely made for some amazing shots! I actually can't get enough of Josephine Sicad's photography. Not only does each frame have that darling vintage tone to it, but every image just oooozes love...like you can tell how much she adores her work from the photographs alone...does that make sense or am I rambling again? The images also have that 'cinematic quality that I've always adored, like the boys of MangoRED before her, Josephine's image appear as if they could have been plucked right from a movie about a love story. Sandra & Duncan's 'Dressed to Impress' wedding made such a stir when I posted it in September that I have been eagerly waiting for more from photographers Chanelle & Craig. As you may remember, Sandra is a fashion designer so made her impressive dress and customised her own Casadei Couture shoes. Texas seems to be right up there with the awesome couples right now. Not a day goes by when I'm don't receive an email which has winged it's way over here from Southern America...and of course today is no different. Jayme & Matt actually had their engagement session nearly a year ago with photographer Brandi Thompson but since then the couple both lost loads of weight and so wanted to celebrate with another one - who says one engagement session is enough? Don't you just adore Jayme's Iron Fist shoes too! I saw then in Schuh and tried them on myself - she rocks them more than I did though. Bridget & James got married at a glassworks in downtown Louisville, KY. Doesn't their yellow colour scheme invoke a perfectly joyous feeling?! Love the orange/yellow and black combo of everything. Bridget's awesome polka dot dress came from Unique Vintage but was altered a little by her Mum who tweaked the fit and added the polka dot sash. When reader Kate sent me a sneak peak of her wedding a few month's ago I knew it would be perfect Rock n Roll Bride material - especially after I laid eyes on her Candy Anthony dress! and Christian Louboutin shoes (a steal and brilliant find from Ebay!) As the the groom, Phil, hails from Wales the wedding had a distinctively Welsh theme and took place in Herefordshire on the Welsh border. The day was filled with personal quirky details and although the wedding may not have been as crazy or offbeat as the ones Kate had lusted after when planning her day, it certainly had the British 'cool' thing down. The reception took place at The Chase Hotel where the couple had a cheese cake (as in a cake made of actual cheese) made by Truffles Delicatessen,a personalised cake topper (dressed to match the couple's outfits) homemade welsh cakes baked by Kate and her great aunt. I think this year green may be the new colour de jour for rock n roll brides. I have been sent a couple of gorgeous green girlies recently...do I see a new trend emerging? You will probably remember Amy from her stunning bridals that I shared recently. Well photographer Brandi was nice enough to send me the full wedding to report. I am crazy about the florals (I'll probably never tire of peacock feather bouquets!), the bridesmaid's and groomsmen's awesome purple combos which looks fab against Amy... and still of course, her shoes! Evita & Micheal had a very uniquely styled wedding and 'day after shoot' (which actually took place 4 months after the wedding but who's counting?) The whole glorious wedding is featured in the Fall issue of Weddings Unveiled Magazine (and will be on their blog, Completely Unveiled, later this week) but I was over the moon when Evita asked if I would like to share their American Gothic style photo shoot too. I fell in love with the fashion. Her fabulous dress, made from a slightly altered vintage Vogue Pattern (8416) with silk from Clarence House even had a matching corset which she wore underneath! Her feather hat was from Frock of Ages and those amazing customised shoes by Andrew Geller, originally from Stefan's Vintage Clothing and quite frankly to die for. Evita explained: I had them resoled at Peter & Sons in South Windermere shopping center. Insoles and toe embellishments done by me. Sterling acorn brooches were purchased on eBay. Swarovski hot fix rhinestones are olivine Thanks to Evita & Michael for sharing their shoot and details with us. I can not wait to see the whole wedding in Weddings Unveiled Magazine soon!
