The main references for Christie and Kevin's wedding were The Shining, the 1970s and 1990s with lots of ideas pulled from Rock n Roll Bride magazine! A nightclub venue in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY was the backdrop, with everywhere they went that day being within walking distance. The morning began at The Adelphi Hotel, where they got ready and started their photo session. From there, they moved into Congress Park, bringing their entire wedding party with them into the indoor carousel.Read more...

When Isabella and Russell (who you might recognise from Fallout!) matched on an online dating app, they found out they were born only five days apart, attended the same college, and even shared the last four digits of their phone numbers! There’s coincidence and there’s fate, and they agreed their connection falls under the latter. Believing their two late Italian grandmothers were conspiring from beyond, they deemed it imperative to meet again the next day. They did and never looked back. Just over a year later, Russell took Isabella to see the winter illumination at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, where they had gone on one of their first dates. He popped the question, and when she said yes, he swept her away to a surprise party to celebrate with their families.Read more...

Meghan and Chris’s November wedding was held at a gothic style mansion in the Catskills, New York. They were entranced by the venue, which was filled with rich history, and stunning woods surrounding it. They really tried to make it their own; the first dance, for example, was done behind a curtain with a spotlight so their 75 guests could only see their silhouettes. They also had a tarot card reader as an option for guests who didn't want to dance in the evening.Read more...

Their own back garden and local community centre were the locations of choice for Danielle and Dylan's Brooklyn wedding. The day had a real community feel with their friends, family and neighbours all coming together to celebrate their marriage. They had a decorating party the night before where around 40 of their loved ones came to eat pizza and help them dress the garden and hall. In total they spent less than $10,000. The bride's dress came from BCBG Max Azaria and everything she wore with it was thrifted.Read more...

Johnny and Megan's autumn wedding was held in their own remote home in the Catskills. They focused on the contrast between slow rural and the high energy of the city. They found their officiant in a burlesque house in NYC, had a hidden digestive bar, flash tattoos, tarot readings and many other surprises for their guests. They even hired a petting zoo and walked down the aisle accompanied by goats!Read more...

1880s in upstate New York, that had been lovingly restored by a theatre tech and fantasy writer. Nicole and Brandon are both huge music fans so they wanted to incorporate music into as many details of their wedding as possible. From the invitations which were record and cassette tape designs, to the flowers made from sheet music and even the centrepiece which were all instruments. The favours were guitar picks, magnets, buttons and stickers and were set up like a merch table and the music that played throughout and the reception was a combination of guest requests (which they asked on the RSVP cards) and their own favouritesRead more...
