Kelsey and Reese's wedding was inspired by something they already loved - the annual Renaissance Faire. Their day featured costumes, swords, mead and a full cast of enthusiastic guests. The whole thing was DIY, with the couple spending no more than $12,000 in total! Charley and Jake had three ceremonies across two years. Their first celebration took place on in 15th November 2024. It was meant to be a small handfasting, nothing at all formal. However a few months before, Charley had to undergo a double mastectomy and had a difficult recovery, so with that in mind, they decided to legally marry on the same day. They had just 12 guests and after the legal ceremony they went to Charley’s family home for the handfasting under the full moon.

Think Bilbo Baggins’ 111th Birthday Party meets a medieval feast, complete with jewel tones, lace, and goblets raised in the air. “The groom’s party was designed to look like a group of hobbits walking through the shire, and the bridesmaids were giving elven princess vibes,” said Grace.
