Oh how I adore Sloan Photographers. I really really do. I say that a lot and about a lot of people but come on...these are way too amazing for words! As soon as I saw Tiphany & Jamie's wedding I was right on to getting these bad boys featured on Rock n Roll Bride. Lucky for me (and you!) the guys were ever so happy to oblige and here we have it. What I love the most is that the bride in in yellow Converse! No uncomfortable shoes for her. If this isn't rock n roll then quite frankly I don't know what is. ps Word on the street is that Matt & Angie have just shot an engagement shoot with a fuschia haired bride. Eeek I can't wait to see those! Thanks guys for sharing these. You are the best! Credit: Sloan Photographers

Rustic Glamour

The Marvimon in LA has become rather an iconic venue to me over this past year. I have never failed to adore every wedding I'm sent that has taken place within it's walls. Sabrina & Kevin's is no different. The day started as a somewhat traditional western affair - she: a bundle of radiance in her pastel palette and Claire Pettibone gown and he: the perfect accompaniment to his bride. The bridesmaids looked stunning and the flowers (supplied La Partie Events) were out of this world gorgeous. The whole day exudes rustic glamour. Come nightfall, Sabrina changed into a Kimono for the festivities and family party. Thanks, as ever, to the always lovely Erin & Court for allowing me to share this gorgeous wedding! This wedding has also been featured on The Bride's Cafe but I couldn't resist a little sneak too! Credit: ErinHeartsCourt

Lisa & Geoff are awesome. So awesome in fact that my friends over at 100 Layer Cake also realised their awesomeness and have blogged their entire wedding over on their site today. Right here though I'm all about their amazing day after shoot at The California State Fair. I'm pretty sure the fairground photo shoot sinario is one I'm not going to tire of easily - so much colour and fun! Thanks to the lovely Sarah for sending these in and thanks to Jillian over at 100 Layer Cake for working with me on this feature - be sure to go check out their post asap! Can everyone please take the time to say hello to the newest member of the Rock n Roll Bride sponsorship family - Alan Silva of Artistic Imagery!? Alan is a photographer and film maker from Sacramento, CA and I have been loving his work and especially his 'same day edits' ever since he first sent me this funny little dancing movie to blog. To celebrate further, check out his newest love story/same day edit. You're going to love it! Credit: Artistic Imagery

I am on a blogging roll this morning hey? Can't stop now though, I've got Keith & Rachel's amazing engagements to show you. The couple (who I swear to God should be models) will actually be getting married at the exact location of this shoot. Keith is a tattoo artist and did the awesome sleeve on Rachel's arm. I was shocked to hear that Corin's photography had never been blogged before - it is stunning! I am super excited to be the first wedding blog to share her work with the world. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of her.

Thrifty Gorgeous

Faith & Joe didn't have much time to plan their wedding, especially as they live in Portland but chose to have the event in California as lots of their friends and family lived here. They also decided to do the whole thing in a super thrifty way. This however, led them to have a truly unique, personal DIY wedding. Friends and family also helped them out wherever they could with her Mum making the cake, the dried flowers for the bouquets, boutonnieres and decorations being donated and Faith getting her gorgeous dress from a thrift store, adding the tulle and brown sash herself and even making her own veil. This has got to be one of the sweetest and most stylish DIY weddings I've ever had the pleasure of sharing with you all. Thanks to photographer Shannon Moore for sharing!
