Hello my dears and welcome to the first Thursday Treats of the new decade! Just as big, just as inspiring and just as fit to bursting with links and fun a-plenty. Let's crack on shall we? ♥ 2010 may only be in it's infancy, but it has so far been a very exciting year for Rock n Roll Bride! Not only was I featured in Cosmopolitan Bride, but I was lucky enough to be asked to model for the infamous Julia Boggio and her Vintage Boudoir series. I braved the snow yesterday and headed up to her Wimbledon studios for a day of fabulous retro hair & make up, styling to die for and to pose and pout my little ass off. I can not wait to share all the details and the photographs, but for now, why not check out my sneak peak shots that I took of (some!) of my outfits with my new favourite toy.

Well my dears, 2009 had been pretty damn awesome in Rock n Roll Bride Land and if you haven't yet then you totally have to check out my yearly review - part one and two - my favourite features of the past 12 months. First up, a little sorrrrieeee from me. With the Rock n Roll Bride machine pretty much taking flight over the last few months the 'How to Blog' series appears to have fallen to the wayside. Unfortunately whilst still holding down a full time job (where I work nights!) there are only so many hours in the day to catch up on such things. Anyway, due to the number of emails and questions I've received asking blogging questions recently, I thought I would try and address as many queries in one hit as possible with a bumper Q&A session. Being a real life published writer is such an amazing feeling. I can't get over that rush I feel seeing my thoughts and ideas in print. Whoa I have been a busy blogger this week! From keeping on top of posting all the bloggy gorgeousness and writing my next few articles for my Photo Pro coloumn (hehe that still sounds so ridiculous) I haven't had much time to stop! Fret not though I have still managed to squeeze in a rather sizable amount of internet browsing/work skiving and have got all these beauties to share.

OK OK excitement must been contained (although I nearly did squeal to myself in a crowded newsagents whilst on my own earlier today!) Those of you following me on Twitter or Facebook may already know but I am now a fully fledged and published writer. Oh yes how ridiculous is that! Me?! Meeeee?!! About a month ago I was contacted by the editor of Photo Pro Magazine who had seen my blog and liked what he saw. He wanted me to write a monthly column for them entitled 'Best of Blogs' where I could not only share some of my favourite wedding photographers every issue but I could write about blogging...my two favourite subjects! So without further ado here it is - article number one.
