Helena and Josh didn’t want a big wedding and they didn’t want a church. What they did want was fog, foliage, and something that felt a little haunted. They landed on a plan that involved flying to New England with only two guests - Helena’s mother and Josh’s son Dexter - and getting married in front of an old water mill, just after Halloween, wearing outfits that wouldn’t look out of place in a Hammer Horror film.

Set against the dark timber of a black barn, Gabrielle and Ross' wedding day featured textured florals, stone-cut signage, and a timeline designed to feel relaxed. They skipped the altar line-up, seating their closest people in the front row instead. They also didn't want to say long vows in front of an audience so those were shared privately earlier in the day. Their main ceremony lasted just five minutes. “It felt incredibly special to share that intimate moment between the two of us alone reminiscing on the six years we’ve spent together", the bride said.

Antonia and Daren chose Temple of Concordia, the oldest fully intact Greek temple in the world, as the location for their wedding. Located in an ancient Greek settlement in Agrigento, Sicily, the temple is devoted to Harmonia, the Greek goddess of balance and harmony, so it felt like exactly the right place for them. "We wanted to create an elevated and elegant Greek mythological scene brought to life", the bride told us, "a ceremony where the ancient gods and goddesses descend upon the earth. Ancient, ethereal, timeless."

The venue announced its closure during COVID with a tweet and Tina wrote back with a clever remark, catching Cesar’s attention. "He was was surprised to find that my entire Twitter was dedicated to birdwatching across NYC's parks, and followed me to learn more about birds", she told us. "I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my new follower was coincidentally the founder of my favourite app, 1 Second Everyday. 1 Second Everyday is a video journaling app that empowers users to record 1 second every day of their life, and I had been using it since 2017 to sentimentally document my new life in New York when I moved here after college. In a way, Cesar had been making my life better and making memories with me even before we'd even met."
