So I don't usually post sneak peeks on the blog (I prefer to tease you on Twitter and Facebook!) but I am so in love with these that I just had to make sure that every single of of your saw them. As I think most of you will know, I headed down to Whitstable beach yesterday with photographer Eliza Claire, Vintage planner and stylist Tiffany Grant-Riley and hair & make up artist Elbie Van Eeden. It really didn't feel like work - it was just a girl's day out! And although I'm proper shattered (and quite sunburnt ooops!) the results are looking like they are aaalll going to be worth it.Read more...

Anyone that's been following me in any capacity over the last 6 months will be well aware of my love and devotion to Emma Case. Not only have I featured as many of her weddings as possible (I can't get enough) but I've even been lucky enough to be photographed by her. I'd say we pretty much have communication every day (whether that be twitter, email, text or talking on the phone!) and I am honoured to call the talented and absolutely awesome lady my friend. So when it came to writing this month's 'Best of Blogs' article for uk photography magazine Photo Pro, who else was I going to choose? Enjoy...Read more...

First of all, well done to everyone for all your patience. I have been very cruel and teased you for weeks about this new project (especially on Twitter hehe!) but I'm pretty sure you're going to forgive me when you see what I've been up to...You must also forgive me for the super wordy nature of this post, but there has been so much work behind the scenes to make this shoot happen that I can’t possibly do it justice without an epic explanation. A little while ago, the amazing Emma Case and I were talking about how crazy our lives are; about how everything seems to have exploded over the last few months and about how many awesome people we’ve met. “Let's do a shoot together” one of us said “hell yeah!” said the other. After we’d decided to actually go through with it and (as Emma later confessed to me) after a major bit of 'OMG what the hell am I doing'/freakin' out about it, a date was set. We didn't really know what the plan was. “Let's just go and have a play” we said.Read more...

On the 12th April 2007 my boyfriend and I headed to the river for a chilled out 5 year anniversary picnic which ended with him asking me to marry him.. On the 12th April 2008 my fiance and I got married. On the 12th April 2009 we headed to Brighton to celebrate our first year of marriage at the fancy pants Grand Hotel. On the 12th April 2010 a long haired husband and a pink haired wife will be having a quiet night together. No mess. No fuss. No bells. No whistles. Dinner, Alice in Wonderland at the cinema and love. The past 2 years haven't always been easy and haven't always been blissful but today the computers will be switched off and we'll just be together. That's what's important and that's how we want to celebrate. Love rocks and I love my husband.Read more...

I am the worst for patience...the actual worst! I want everything now now now. So when I picked the newest issue of Photo Pro Magazine up and saw that not only was my article on one of my favourite photographers, David McNeil featured, but that my Vintage Boudoir shoot with the fabulous Julia Boggio was adoring FOUR whole pages, I literally couldn't wait to share the scans with you. I hope you likey! (click on the images to make them bigger and read-able if you want to see what Julia said about me and my posing - Yes I am a big poser) Enjoy!Read more...

I joked about this on Twitter and Facebook yesterday, but it may actually be true you know - they might as well have called this month's Photo Pro Magazine, Rock n Roll Bride Magazine because the awesome guys over there not only ran my regular 'Best of Blogs' article, but my friend and photographer, the way-too-fabulous Julia Boggio, wrote a piece about 'the art of posing'...and guess who's Vintage Boudoir session is adoring FOUR whole pages?! That's right people...it's meee! I can't wait to share those with you (on Monday) but for now let's get right into learning all about another one of my favourite UK photographers (and just so happens, best friends) David McNeil!Read more...
