We’ve had a lot of you sliding into our DMs lately asking, “When’s the next Rock n Roll Bride Live?” And the honest answer is... not this year. We’re hitting pause on our own show in 2025 to focus on other projects (and maybe catch our breath - turns out producing a wedding fair is a lot). BUT we’ve got some juicy news, especially for our European readers: instead of hosting our own event, we’re heading to the Lobsters for Life Wedding Fair in the Netherlands this October! Danica and Nick are professional musicians and friends with some of the best talent in Hollywood, so of course they had to have a wedding fit for the big stage. Held at the live music venue El Rey Theatre, their ceremony was held onstage next to drums and guitars. Earth to Madison

May 30, 2025

Some weddings take months to find their theme. For Corey and Scotty, it started at an observatory. Scotty proposed under the stars - literally - as they had private viewings of Jupiter and the moon. Back on Earth, Corey started to think about what their wedding theme might be. It wasn't until she discovered Rue de Seine's Desert Rose veil and Written in the Stars jacket that it hit her - duh, a celestial theme! "It was all too perfect and from that point on a celestial was all I could think about", she said.

As a gay, non-gender conforming couple, tradition wasn’t something AJ and Ryan felt obligated to follow. That freedom shaped every part of their day into something intimate and imaginative. "We had no expectations on us so we could make it our own, start our own traditions", they wrote. "We skipped pretty much all of the normal wedding traditions bar not seeing each other the night before the wedding. We kept that one for the excitement and to give each other space to decompress after the hectic build up."

The cost of flowers has risen significantly since the pandemic. Many growers went out of business, and those that stayed had to rethink their operation - cutting production and wastage to maintain sustainability. There has also been a push for eco-friendly practices, which means investing in new technology. Factor in rising wages, transport costs, Brexit-related border checks, and soaring business expenses for growers and florists alike, and you’ve got some seriously pricey stems.

Katrine and Joseph’s wedding theme all started with a song. When they were picking a date, the line Do you remember the 21st night of September? from Earth, Wind & Fire’s iconic hit felt like a perfect fit. “It’s one of our favourite songs,” Katrine said. “We thought it’d be cool to actually get married on that day.” As if the stars aligned, the 21st of September the year after their engagement fell on a Saturday. It also happened to be Joseph’s parents’ wedding anniversary.
