Adam and Kitty got married in Las Vegas with a guest list of six and a budget of around £5k including travel and accommodation from the UK. The ceremony took place at High Noon at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, followed by a limo ride out to the Valley of Fire for portraits.
The visual brief was Wild West which meant layers, bustles, corsets and cowboy boots, finished with an American flag cowboy hat picked up downtown on their first day. Nothing was styled to look ironic or novelty, it just felt like a natural extension of their usual aesthetic.

The date itself also mattered. Kitty is big into numerology and the couple married on 18 February, which was the same date of their first date in 2017 and the date Adam proposed in 2022! The maths behind it sealed the deal. “It was the most IDEAL of ideal dates!!” Kitty explained. “And it was all suggested, with no input of mine, as Adam proposed, the cutie!”
They invited only their closest friends and their partners. No family and no big crowd. “We skipped most of the traditions actually,” Adam said. “Luckily, we both viewed conventional weddings as a long list of obligations, generally done for other peoples’ benefits so we skipped the country and eloped to Las Vegas, didn’t have any family in attendance, just our four closest friends, no speeches, no wedding breakfast… basically, no pomp.”

At the Welcome to LAs Vegas sign, in the midday sun, they exchanged rings, kissed, and quickly realised their wedding had drawn a small crowd. “We had members of the public with their cameras out!” Adam said. “It was bizarre to think that our wedding caused enough of a scene to appear on a random stranger’s camera roll but it was also super special.”
There was no formal reception. They went to Valley of Fire for their photos and then went for for all0day breakfast at Denny’s afterwards. “We’d got to know our waitress so we walked in presenting her with our rings and telling her all about our day and they were all so happy for us!” Kitty said. The following day, they went to The Cheesecake Factory for their version of wedding cake.

They saved plenty of money by having an unconventional wedding, buying their outfits in the Black Friday sales and booking their flights and hotel as a package through a British Airways, also in the sales. “You can make a wedding that fits you without it needing to be how a wedding was 5, 10, 20 or 50 years ago,” they concluded. “Non-traditional doesn’t mean ‘invalid’… it’s about sharing your love with each other and the people you care about, however you choose to plan it.”
