23 and 24 are both amazing. Those two stand out a mile for me but there are loads of other good ones too!
I always said if I were to ever get married, I’d wear a colourful dress, but looking at these pictures, I don’t know how I could narrow it down! They all look SO amazing!
I loved this post. My Nana was a wartime bride. During the war fabric was rationed and most brides wore utility type suits – beautiful but very practical. Not my Nana! She had a full length dress with a train, made of the most beautiful turquoise velvet. God knows where she got all that fabric from, but she did. My Nana was a very glamourus woman. I’d love to share the picture (which she had coloured!)
I just love coloured wedding dresses! My mum wore pale pink, and I’ve always thought that I would shun white and go for colour when I get married 🙂 My long time favourite is this gorgeous pale blue one here: http://ruffledblog.com/ruffled_galleries/mornington-australia-vintage-wedding/australian-vintage-wedding-43/
Aah I knew we’d see Sassy in there. Stunning!
Love that pale blue Tori!
It does my heart good to see so many brides breaking with tradition and looking every bit the gorgeous bride 🙂
56 -wow wow wow!
23, 28, 34, 46, and oh my…57!
23 is the standout for me! I wouldn’t think twice about wearing that!
I totally expected to see yours here Amy! Especially after you were a featured wedding! x
Some of these are just amazing! I love #’s 8 and 24 the absolute best. But, #’s 13, 36, and 56. The Goth dresses #’s 57 and 60 are fantastic! Everyone involved in making these dresses followed their hearts and imaginations. #56 looks as if the store bough dress was just fiddled with to make it more original. Gorgeous just the same!
Some of them were very cute others where very ugly!!!!!
All the red and black ones. However very taken with the blue tie die style, dress.
I got married in red. Was 37 and white just didn’t seem right and it didn’t suit me but red did.
Oh this is SO BEAUTIFUL, what a great post! 5, 9, 21 & 43 were absolute standouts for me!
Number 56 is gorgeous!!!!!! I am in love.
The link isn´t working though…where can I see more pictures?

14, 17, 24 and 51. Glorious.
I don’t understand the whole white wedding thing. Plus at 46 now, still individual and eccentric, how wrong would that look?!
Loved 25! My niece Erin and her wedding was beautiful! Perfect Capitola locale in California. A real DIY affair with lots of family help. Kary her mother did a fantastic job. It was a Parisian themed Audrey Hepburn inspired wedding!
Much more original than the white one, I think it’s great so much colors, it’s a happy event a wedding!
Thanks for featuring 3 of our gorgeous brides in this Kat, very honoured to have them all featured xxx
To Dascha, these ladies featured in the photographs are real brides, these are notmodels and photoshoots, please dont call the brides or the dresses ugly, if you dont like them then fine, but who do you think it helps calling them ugly. Just keep in mind that these are real people, on their actual real wedding days with real feelings before you use words like ugly.
Thanks
These dresses are so pretty. I love the punk and the neo Victorian!! Can’t wait until my wedding when I can wear something like that!!
Awesome feature! I’m not sure which one to choose as my favourite? There are so many.
Those whoever comes up with this kind of idea, ohh well nice job. Cool.
