Utterly Sweet Weddings
June 24, 2009
I have a couple of gorgeous sets from
Sweet Monday Photography to share with you today, starting with the stunning, rustic wedding of Naama & Greg. What drew me to this wedding straight away was Naama’s beautifully simple and cute dress but what kept me going through all the photographs was all the gorgeous little details they put into their day.
The couple were married at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles and Neema got her dress from Ebay, oh yes! It was a real family affair with all the flowers coming from her Mum’s garden and her sister Melissa makingall the stationary. The couple also put all the favours and table numbers together themselves. The result is a completely gorgeous DIY soiree!
Thanks to Lindsey of Sweet Monday Photography for sharing these with me!

Super Kawaii English Country Garden Wedding: Abby & Hoi
October 18, 2014
You might think that there's nothing more traditional in English weddings than a country garden setting, but Abby and Hoi's big day was anything but quaint! They took the traditional elements and turned them on their head. From the bride's short polka dot dress and purple hair, to the Hello Kitty cake and the vintage ice cream cart for dessert, this was a wedding that was quintessentially 'them'.
Kamela & Brian’s Organic, Vintage, Back Garden wedding
September 13, 2010
Oh yes! I am so excited by Kamela & Brian's vintage/eco/organic/outdoor wedding. The couple made wedding choices that were totally perfect for them and ignored a lot of the usual wedding industry rubbish. They got married at their Grandparent's house in Vancouver and had the super personal reception in their back garden.
Rustic, West Country Wedding
November 27, 2015
The inspiration for Nick and Laura's summer wedding came from their love of the outdoors. "We wanted to have a relaxed, informal day", Laura said. "I couldn't really pick out one theme, it was a mish-mash of everything we love."

For their late summer wedding Sarah & James wanted something relaxed, quirky and quintessentially English So they opted for a tea party style reception in the Suffolk countryside. Emotional DIY Kawaii Wedding: Talia & Zac
March 18, 2013
Isn't it funny when two of your worlds collide? I've been stalking following Talia on Instagram for ages (I love love love her cute kawaii style!) and so when I received their wedding photographs from Eric Roland I literally jumped up and down with glee! I knew this wedding was going to be awesome from the few sneaks I'd seen on her feed but I was little prepared for this level of amazement...
An Eclectic Vintage & Bric-a-Brac Wedding: Emalie & Duncan
October 10, 2012
Getting engaged on the top of Toyko Tower in Japan in 2010, Emalie & Duncan's wedding was never going to be traditional. With a bride rocking mermaid green hair and a groom adding a much needed modern twist to the tweed suit, this couple wanted a wedding that screamed 'them'. A field in Cookhill, Evesham was chosen as the location and the pair were married outside, in front of a homemade giant heart shaped flower wreath.
English Country Picnic Wedding: Tim & Scarlett
October 16, 2013
Tim and Scarlett were married on 8th August, their five year anniversary. They had a church ceremony followed by a tea party reception in the gardens of Baxby Manor, a gorgeous 705 year old Manor house. "We knew that we wanted somewhere beautiful, and Baxby ticked all the boxes", Scarlett began. "It even came with a glamping site down the lane for all our guests to stay over! Baxby isn't a wedding venue, just a luxury holiday letting, but the owners were amazing and let us create a beautiful day there, as if it were our own house."
